According to my calculations I've lost 10 inches since the first of November. That can''t be right but I've checked it over again. Maybe it's my medication.

Anyway I've lost 13% of my body fat since starting SP back in 2009 (?). emoticon

My weight at the end of March 2012 was 202.6
My weight today is 195.6
It took me a while to get back down under 200 but my weights been up and down a lot. I will say that when I started SP way back when, I weighed 221 so I've kept most of that off. My highest within the past year has been around 208.

That number sure looked better on the scale than it does put up against the numbers from last years weigh in (its been a lot of time and too little weight worked off).

Weight %= ** Take your CW (current weight) and divide by your SW (start weight), then subtract 1 and multiply by 100.

** Simply add a % after this number for your overall % lost from the start of the challenge.

So 195.6/221.=.883-1= .11.5%

** Simply add a % after this number for your overall % lost from the start of the challenge.

** In other words, 232.2/244 - 1 x 100 = -4.836% (round up to -4.84%)
********************************************************************************************************
October 1- starting weight 205
October-8 - 202.2 (1.37%)
October 15 - 200 (2.44%)
October 2O - 198.2 (3.32%)
October 25 = 197.4 (3.71 %)
October 31 = 196.4 (4.38)

Woohoo! I got a complement from my husband as we were walking the other day. He said my butt looks really good. Since I've been doing step aerobics and other glut exercises my butt is no longer flat! It's round and tight.

Loving this change!!!!!!

I'm very happy with the way this month has gone. I've done over 1600 fitness minutes this month and over 500 of the minutes was for this week.
I also crossed my yearly goal of 11968 fitness minutes. At the moment I'm at 12108 fitness minutes for the year.
Right now I'm in third place for cardio and second for fitness minutes for our team this month. It's been a while since I've been even close to that.
The days not over and I intend on doing more cardio today.
I hope this doesn't seem like I'm bragging, I'm really happy with the way things are going right now as far as fitness goes and I'm hoping to bump up my cardio next month.

My woohoo moment at this time is coming back from a month of depression and just feeling blah.
I got on my stationary bike yesterday and did a total of 23 miles -2 different sessions.(60 min.-17 miles and 22 min.-6 miles). I haven't done exercise in a month and it really felt good!!!
That I'm up and around is a good woohoo moment for me.

Woohoo moment here! I did 360 reps total of core exercises today. I feel energized. I'm finding that I can lift higher on the crunches now and the reverse crunches . . .well they feel like my legs aren't so heavy if that makes sense to anyone.
Exercises done:
REVERSE CRUNCHES- 4 sets of 15
CRUNCHES-4 sets of 15
CRUNCH WITH A TWIST- 4 sets of 15
ELBOW TO KNEE CRUNCHES- 4 sets of 15 (my elbows are getting a lot closer to my knees these days, woohoo!
DUMBBELL SIDE BENDS (5 LB.weights) 2 sets of 15
JACKKNIFE with ball- (modified to elbows) 4 sets of 15

I'm very proud of what I have accomplished!!

Swimsuit!! Way to go!! I'm not ready for that yet, still in the sarong phase here, but I'm headed in the right direction. And I've been fitting into things that have been hanging in my closet unworn for a loooooooong time too -- the feeling is AWESOME!

I completed 2 sets of 10 reps of good form regular push ups today. I know that doesn't seem like much but it tells me my upper body is getting stronger. I might have been able to do more today but my upper arms are sore from yesterday's exercises. I'll try again in a couple of days.

I squeezed into my size 14 jeans today. My thighs and hips fit good but my stomach area is still too big to fit comfortably! I won't be wearing these for a while but it was still a WOO HOO moment for me!!

I found out something strange yesterday. I went to stretch out on my stomach on the living room floor last night and was very uncomfortable. Since losing weight here at SP I've lost weight around my rib cage.
As I was lying there trying to get comfortable the right side of my rib cage was hurting. Apparently after having kids the right side of my rib cage sticks out more than my left. I would have never know that if I hadn't lost weight. LOL I know I'm strange but it was just another observation about my weight since coming here. I guess I haven't stretched out on my stomach for a long time because I haven't noticed that before.

I started this journey because I was about to go buy me a size 20. I decided that was not going to happen again. I am in a size 16 now that I can pull off without undoing the zipper or button. I have gone from 46 waist to a 38, 52 hips to a 44,and from 15 to 13.5 in my neck. I am excited.
Also wanted to put out there sorry for not being around much, but we are trying to take care of two houses at the moment, and I had a serious bout with bronchitis in which I have to use an inhaler for the next 4 months. Again sorry for not being as available, but even work has not seen me in nearly 3 weeks due to the illness.

WooHoo!! I started this journey in a size 18W pant and now I'm in a size 16. The size 16s are fitting comfortably, they're not tight! My biggest achievement I'd say is that my thighs and arms are a lot smaller now. I'll have to measure today and see if there is any change from last month.

Today I did 9 miles in 35 minutes on my stationary bike. I did it on setting 2 tension, I've never gone at 16-17 mph on setting 2 for that long,it must be all those minutes on the step. LOL (Setting 1 is just too easy now.)

Monday.
Last week was a total bust as far as my nutrition went. I gained back 2 pounds. I'm not letting it keep me down though.
For those of you who gave me advise last week when I was down-thank you. I started back on my meds yestereday and I'm feeling tired but I'm going to exercise anyway. I'm sorry for the break down last week but I guess that we all have them once in a while. Thanks again for your concern! Tracy

I started taking Glucosamine Chondroitin for my knees, and spine hopefully that helps my knee pain and will keep my back healthy. My doctor takes it and he says it really helps. It's a good thing I'm not allergic to shellfish, because that is what the Chondroitin is made of.

SPOOKIEDO: I've noticed cold hands/feet too -- it's odd; I would think with more exercise, circulation would be better & extremities would warm up... on the other hand, maybe the body pulls blood to where it's needed more during a workout i.e. heart & lungs... (just thinking out loud)

I really didn't know where I should post this question. Has anyone else noticed their hands and feet being colder now that you've lost some weight. My hands and feet feel like they've been dipped in an ice bucket.

I wish someone was home. I put on my wedding ring and engagement ring on today. They fit !!!!!!!! I got my engagement ring when I was 19 and my wedding ring when I was 20. I weighed probably 125-130 back then. I guess my finger lost weight quicker than most of the rest of me.LOL

Bootcamp results:
I lost .75 of an inch in my thighs
1.25 inches around my waist
1.25 inches on my hips
0 inches on my bust
Weight lost 3.4 pounds

I'm not giving all the credit to bootcamp. Fitpris is also the reason I've lost inches and pounds. I suppose I also have to give credit to those planks.LOL

Weighed in this morning and I am maintaining my last weight loss. I have been moving more though. I have worked out most of this week. I am hoping the scale will say something different soon.
I made the leap and finally cut off soda (coca cola). I have not had a migraine thus far. Woo Hoo!!! Hope to have better numbers next week. =0)

I'm not weighing myself again until Monday. I just wanted to say I'm happy with my results so far. With Fitpris keeping me moving, bootcamp helping, and my new strength training (1 hour 3 days a week)
I'm liking what I see. My forearms are smaller, my core is stronger, my neck is even smaller. I really looked in the mirror last night at my face and noticed my neck is thinner and toned. I told my husband and he said-I noticed that two weeks ago.LOL I'm feeling great and I have no doubt with this team I will make it. Actually no matter what I will make it!!!! I feel fantastic.

I can even get off my couch now without pushing myself up with my hands. No matter what that scale says on Monday, I'm happier today than I've been in soooooooooooooooo many years.

In the past two weeks I have lost 2 more pounds. Some of my clothes fit funny now. Like the hiney and inner thigh area...feels weird. LOL Miss the 2 pounds a week loss, but am not letting it get me down. Still do a celebratory dance at every loss. Ha ha.

You're doing great! It seems like I read somewhere you should only weigh yourself once a week, but I have been weighing in daily also. Even .2 of a pound is a victory! Slowly and surely the tortoise won the race...

I have a kind of funny story about weighing in today. When I weighed myself today I weighed in at 196.2, which would mean I'd lost 25 pounds. Yea me! I had my husband come over and check if I were crazy or not. It read 196.2. Then I got to thinking that last time I thought I had lost some weight there was a tiny speck of cat food under the scale that threw the scale off. So I checked and indeed there was a tiny piece of cat food. So I weighed again. 198.8!
Oh well, I didn't make it today but I will. I'm going to have to move that cat bowl so I'm not disappointed next time.
It's also that time of month for me so who knows??
As Pris says my body is changing. I threw out some under garments today that are just getting to baggy. It's just not the weight lose, my muscles are getting more toned. I can see the difference even if there is still those rolls from having babies. My sweatpants are getting baggy and I have to keep adjusting the string. These same sweatpants were comfortably tight when I began this journey.
Everything is good, life is good!

I'm fluctuating also, but more so when that unwanted visitor comes. Does anyone have any suggestions about an insatiable hunger during the monthly cycle? I've done farely well this month, until yesterday and I had a half pack of thin mints. I thought I had eaten too much cuz I also had a grilled chicken from Mickey D's and an order of fries (not the small order). Anyway, back to the main story, I fluctuate anywhere from 1 - 3 pounds, but my clothes are fitting looser and looser!

I also fluctuate 5 pounds or so, 190 seems to always be my "wall" I cant get past(at least not for more than a day or so). I swear my body goes into full blown panic/sabotage/binge mode every time I hit 189. Well I'm proud to say I hit 189 yesterday and yes I was starving ALL day and caved into the evil Otis Spunkmeyer empire last night but like it or not body I was still 189 this morning despite myself and this week I WILL hit 188(maybe even 187!).

I fluctuate about 5 pounds on my weight. I'm proud to say I no longer fluctuate up to 205 anymore. My highest is about 201 pounds and my low is 197 pounds (so not quite 5 pounds any more).
I'm happy to say I'm at 198 today and feeling very bloated so maybe I've made some progress this week.

I float 10lbs at any given time.

I have to give a kudos to my hubby. He lost 5lbs in 1 week just by tweaking his eating habits and adding 2 days of cardio and 2 days of training with me per week. He is working on his "next 40lbs!" He's lost a total of 80 since we've been together. emoticon

Well all together I lost 25 pounds so far. 3 pounds at the last weigh in for me. I do not count my weight unless it has gone down. I do fluctuate during the day. I try not to stand on the scale unless it is first thing in the morning, and I do it unclothed so I get an accurate weight. I do not count pound fluctuations, because they are sometimes a saboteur, and I am not willing to let it affect me. When I lose more you will see it...with a great big Woo Hoo!!! LOL

Yep, I do too. And I'm terrible with the scale. I will weigh myself twice in the morning, once before I go to the bathroom and then after. In the evening when I get home from work I will weigh myself again, and then before I go to bed I do my morning routine all over. One could say I'm addicted!

OoOOOOOOoooOoOO Well according to the scale I dropped 3 of the pounds I gained around the holidays... BUT I will hold off on a FOR SURE weigh in until I see 5 pounds gone for at least a few days.

Does anyone else fluctuate in weight alot? It seems like I can be in a 5 pound range within a day.

To celebrate the loss of unwanted weight, post your accomplishments here. But remember, it's not about the weight you lose, but the healthy lifestyle you gain.
