wait until you hear what your dr has to say..............
many times the band is better to be removed versus repair as other things may go wrong and this tactic can be quite risky for the patient also repairs don't work in the same way especially if the band is defective and that will not necessarily be known till the surgery is being done etc
ask all your questions and after what he has to said consider all the possibilities and what will be best for you........if you do not feel comfortable then seek another opinion......
i personally would prefer a dr who does not take risks with life and gives me the best of what he has to offer...........keep us posted......wishing you all the best what ever you decide.......
blessings and hugs................lita
“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
