I am doing C25K! I've been at it on and off since May but have currently been "on" since mid-December. I'm on Week 6, actually have been stuck on week 6 for 2 weeks due to shin splints. It's pretty awesome! I'm hoping to do a 5K in May, I still have tons of time so I don't mind repeating weeks! I actually really like strength training, I find it relaxing, insane right?!

Thanks so much! Are you doing C25K? I plan on doing it when I get my weight down to a safer running on a treadmill weight! (Thanks, Doc!)
Another one of my goals is to up my strength training. It makes me grumpy but I need to do it!
The trick is learning how to watch where you're going AND keep your head up.

My current goal is an end of the year surge: Workout five days/week, eat enough food (i track this because i have problems doing this)
I want to see and feel a REAL difference by the end of December. Good habits will be formed by then and I will set new goals then!

This weeks goals for me are:
-To go to the gym at least 3 times this week and take the dog on long walks the days I don't go. -Watch my carb intake more closely. - Keep a better eye on my blood sugar and actually check it after meals.
Long term goals:
-Get down to healthy weight for me. -To not be dependant on all the meds. I'm on. -To be thinner than my MIL.(LMAO- halfway kidding on that one) - To be able to go a full hour on the bikes at PF.

Mission accomplished! I ran 7 5ks this year! woo hoo!
I have recently started back at Planet Fitness. Typical for me, this time of year -- with the cold and darkness setting in, running outside is too difficult to get in safely.
My goal is to hit the gym 3x per week. Wed, Friday and a day on the weekend. I love the cardio, so fitting in the strength training will be a challenge. Additionally, I am working toward being a "one hour runner" and would like to accomplish this by the end of the winter.
I'll try to post my success in meeting these goals here!
Does anyone else have some goals for the month/winter?

I needed to post about a goal I met this weekend. I ran my first 5K! Which, then created a new goal for me. I'd like to run 5 5Ks this year. I found a bunch online and put them on my calendar! The next one is March 21st. OOOh Weee! I can not wait!!!
A friend asked me to do a triathlon in July. Anyone ever done one or considered it?

You know where I get lots of protein? GoLean cereal and a cup of milk for breakfast... that's like 30 grams in one meal, about 200-300 calories!

You will both make it -- my goals seem to change each month. I've been paying more attention to my daily intake of protein. I can't seem to get enough protein without going way over my calories. It's so much work to plan all that food each day. I've also started to track my calcium -- Before I started SP, I was drinking so much milk -- now I don't and I'm wondering if I get enough.
I'd also like this flabby belly to firm up -- enter Planet Fitness -- hopefully running and strength training will do the trick.

I've got a few goals. My long term goal is to be a size 8/10. I don't think I've been an 8/10 since...oh I don't know...birth? HAHA But in all seriousness, my main goals are to get back on track and start doing the things I'm supposed to again. getting in my water and protein are big goals of mine. Staying away from carbohydrates! I am a carb junkie, and I was doing so good for so long!!! But I let it slip just once and that was it. Exercizing on a regular basis, taken better care of myself, relearning new habbits. All goals.

I'm trying to tone while losing weight. My wedding is in less than 10 months! My ultimate goal is to be a 10/12 and finally be under 200 lbs! I haven't been under 200 since the age of 10! This will be awesome :-)

I've been on SP since February 2008 -- I've lost 55 pounds and find myself struggling to drop that last 20 and reach my goal.
I am working toward losing the last 20 pounds, overall toning and running a 5K.
