I forgot to post my starting challenge weight and goal, as I weighed in on Wednesday.

Anyway, I'm starting at 205.4, and I am going to be VERY conservative and aim for a 7 pound loss (198.4) for this challenge. I am traveling next month to Colorado to my daughter's college graduation plus we're heading to South Dakota (Rapid City area) for some sightseeing afterwards, so I want to be realistic given all of the dining out, etc.

I had my surgery Monday, so I am just figuring things out. My goel is to increaseactivity becauseI am really sore right now emoticon

I have been snacking on beef jerky lately. My oldest daughter show's rabbits. When we go to a show, that's what I take to eat. Most of the time the food there is hot dog type stuff and I don't seem to have good luck eating hot dogs at all.

Thanks a bunch! I'm back on track now.

Just wish i ahd more ideas for snacking as a band/diabetic. Best results on FBS comes from a light salad around 9 pm with tomatoe/cuke and stick cheese copped up with italian dressing but that gets old after a while

Sadly over the last week when I was celebrating the excellent A1c i had for my diabetes of 5.8 down from 8.2 I celebrated in the wrong ways with pie and chocolate cake and jelly beans over the week before Easter. (hangs my heal low)

I saw my lap band surgeon this morning and she debated for a fill but i said No thanks. there was a 4 lb. gain.

So my goal is to lose 5 pounds by memorial Day. Let's get going!

Oh I love it... I am super busy now too. My girls are in 4-H so spring time is crazy for us... Of course my youngest plays softball too. My oldest one says the other day, oh the 4-H bowling club starts... TUESDAY!!! great, add one more thing to my plate!!

Hoping to get some time for ME somewhere in there!!

I'm up for the challenge!!

Okay this will be a seven week challenge ending May 28 which is Memorial day.

My challenge to myself is to lose the 11 pounds I have gained with the last challenge. This is really going to be a test to my will power because I have a lot going on during this one. I go away for a three day family reunion this coming weekend. In May I have two grandchildren's birthdays as well as my own and Mother's Day plus I will be on vacation for three weeks I am really going to need all the incentive and willpower I can muster. Thank goodness I go for a fill on the 28th of this month.
