My doctor has talked about injections.... He said it's like having an epidural, which I did have when my son was born... Still not crazy about that idea. Hadn't heard of the "burn the nerve endings".... Not sure how I feel about that either. Guess I'll just have to see what happens with the MRI first.

Barb as long as you aren't gaining then you are doing great. Maybe your body is taking a break from losing and trying to heal other parts. I hope you get your back taken care of soon. I know how that pain can be. Mine still bothers me after my fall last year. I had two rounds of cortisone shots with the last one being last March. I has been a lot better since but it still hurts sometimes. The next step if it begins hurting again is burning the nerve endings.

Sorry I've been so slow at getting in here. No change..... think I've taken up permanent residence on this plateau. I think my mind is pretty much occupied with the other healt issues going on in my life. Doctor has changed some meds and I have an MRI scheduled in two weeks to see whats going on with my lower back and hip. I just want to feel good again. I'm pretty sure I will pay for scooping the heavy wet snow we got today, but someone had to do it.

Good week -- down 2.4 pounds! It has literally been AGES since I have been in the 210-219 range (I guess that is called the two-teens?). 3 more pounds 'til I hit 50 gone since surgery!

I thought I was doing good but I guess not so good cause I'm bk up to 295.6
I'm tried of this going bj and forth thing .

I feel like I've lost . I think I'm gonna start measuring myself.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Hmmm... it occurs to me I really should log each week as a running log, since I don't remember what I posted from previous weeks. I do know I lost 4.4 pounds this week, and gained 0.8 pounds the week before. Not sure what happened in week 1 (maybe that was the kickoff week?) IN any case:

1/29: 176.8 (-3.6 overall)
1/22: 181.4 (+0.8 overall)
1/15: 180.6 (starting point?)

i was somewhere between the good and the ugly............the scale told me nothing i already knew..........

Sorry I didn't get this posted yesterday. My computer power cord went out and I had to go buy a new one. I can really tell I have no restriction now that I am back to eating regular food and it seems like I have food related activities every weekend these days and with no restriction it is hard to say no. Needless to say with all of this rambling I am just delaying saying I gained again. I can't wait until the 9th when I get a fill because I have food activities to attend for the next three weekends. I hope to see a difference after the fill. I really hope all of you are having better weeks than I am.
