well i must say the bruising is somewhat normal....remember you also had a hiatus hernia repair too and they only had those little holes by which to work the scopes with and manipulating them around can cause much bruising no matter how they try it still happens and some people seem to bruise more easily then others too ...i too had the hernia repair at the same time so i can understand your issues with the bruising.......
remember they will go away .....
so sorry to hear you are so alone with this....it does add to your stress.........
ust remember we are here for you.............just a post away............
so feel free to vent away...........we understand.............keep us posted...
blessings and hugs..........lita

Wish I could post something INSPIRATIONAL but am not feeling all that inspirational at the moment. Have had the LAP-BAND for less than a week. Realized that by having it done in a private clinic by out of town Surgeons, Nurses and Registered Clinical Dietitians that my care will be minimal. I have already gone to my GP and thank God he was able to take care of my needs and re bandage the spots that were not done with great care. I have massive bruises all over my stomach, over, under and around my belly button and some that are close to my lower stomach. I even have a few on my legs. I have had to take care of myself through this stressful time. I had a hernia repair at the same time as the LAP-BAND so things have not been wonderful. .....This is my way of screaming and saying I am really upset and feel beyond alone. Now that that is over I will try and remain positive. emoticon

I have lost weight, emoticon I get to see my GP tomorrow if I wish and I will hopefully start reading some positive posts from now on. I have to stop feeling sorry for myself now and need to look forward and onward to all the good that can happen because of this. Looking forward to happy healthy thoughts. Sorry for the rant. emoticon I feel better now and will try and se the glass half full and not half empty from now on. emoticon

Happy Monday to you!

Our challenge today:

1- POST SOMETHING INSPIRATION ON YOUR TEAM HUDDLE AREA.
2-Send out an encouraging word for your fellow team members.

Feel free to post on all of the teams you belong to.
Your words just might help someone that is struggling with food, exercise, or motivation.

Have a great Monday!
