Yesterday I walked a lot at least ten miles. My meter broke. I walked around the mall around toys r us at least 2x Micheal's craft store 1x.Then I came home with a ten minute bathroom brake and walked 3 hours around trick or treating with my 3 1/2 son. I did not think he would go 3 houses. But he was full of energy. We left the house at 9am woke up at 7:30 am to get ready.

Today it was a relaxing day. Now I have to see who wants all the candy we collected yesterday plus the candy we got to give out. We only had about 20 kids come to the door. We got 6lbs of sugar tablets. My son does not eat candy.

I walk 12 laps around the track every morning at 6 am. That's 3 miles. I get to commune with my Lord and watch the sun come up. What a way to begin a day. To God Be The Glory! 19 pounds so far emoticon

I have been naughty the past two weeks as far as walking, so I am going to start POSTING what my goals are and whether I get them done.

Way to go to everyone. I have been pushing my self but I found out that my body won't except just as much as I did yesterday before a breakdown. I did all together 14.874 miles yesterday. It was exursting to do the 4 miles in 30 minutes on the Wii fit. Right after I went to bed not even washed up. emoticon

I can go for 2 hours or 5-6 miles before I want a break. I can continue after that but it is always nice to have a beverage and a restroom break.

I walk at least 6 miles a day, ranging from 2 hours, i have a pedometer and usually I can get 15,000 steps a day. That is combined with my work, which I am on my feet all day....not allow to sit unless its break time!

I have a heel spur, but got a cortisone shot in my foot, and it is feeling a lot better.

Hello, I am new to this challenge. Today was Canada Day and like your 4th of July we hold festivities. Well in my town, we have a lake called Fairy Lake and it has a huge festivity every year. We left home about 12pm, got to the lake around 12:15pm, and walked up and down Main Street first, they had booths set up all over, then went to the Lake and walked around that lake for 3 1/2 hours with 2 kids. It was wonderful, haven't done that in a year and I felt so darned good that I am going to walk for 15 minutes every single day I can.
Linda. PS Got a new hip 1 1/2 years ago and haven't walked this far without a cane since having it done.

I walked 4.3 miles with an 8lb weighted walk vest on.
It's funny, but when I have lost 8 lbs it didn't seem like much, but now carrying an extra 8 lbs I could really feel the extra weight and the strain my body was going through carrying it.

Spent a good deal of Saturday in Manhattan - walked from Whitehall Terminal (Staten Island Ferry)to Central Park and back again, with some stops inbetween to attend Mamma Mia! on Broadway (I highly recommend, by the way). All told, about 13 miles in one day.

A little sore, but not too bad. I regularly walk 5-6 miles/day.

I'm just beginning to walk regularly, but with 84 lbs to lose it's slow going. Today I was able to do 1.33 mi in 30 min. My goal is to walk 30 min a day, slowly increasing my pace as I lose weight until I am able to jog for the whole 30 min.
