I think we need to reactivate this challenge! Or maybe start over in developing these healthy habits, with exercise being one month's challenge, taking vitamins, eating more veggies, or other ideas for other months.
I'm going to think about what new "habit" I want to work on for the month of October (since Sept is almost over and with my son's wedding in a week, I know I'm going to have a hard time focusing on something new). Consistent exercise is what I need to work on, but have to figure out how much to start with and how often.

If it's to be, it's up to ME.

I will start walking on treadmill for 15 minutes at least 3 days a week. I
hope to move up to at least 5 times daily, when I feel stronger.

I'm finally going to update my progress! Well... on Day 1 I totally failed and did nothing whatsoever... sigh. But on day 2 I did 25 minutes of walking and then today, day 3, I did 20 minutes of walking. I'm also thinking of joining a gym and slowly intensifying my workouts!

Okay, I think I'll try it, but I'll start at 15-20 minutes and work my way up because I have been sedentary for soooooo long. Good idea!

Hey Gals!

This time of year for me I usually start off with great intentions and after a few weeks, it dwindles. Therefore, I thought we may want to make a challenge to motivate us into consistency!

This challenge starts now, and lasts 30 days! If you start at a later date, you can continue this for 30 days after your start date! This is a great way to make a habit, as 21 days of repetition creates a habit!

This challenge is to be active 30 minutes per day. You can do 30 minutes of cardio, yoga, pilates, weight training, etc. You may mix up your activities to complete your 30 minutes.

If you are not able to do 30 minutes, then work up to it. You may even need to break it down into 3, 10 minute sessions per day!

Please post each day as to the time you spent doing your specific activity! If you have any questions, please contact me!

Most importantly, have fun!

Jennie
