After seeing all the requesting posts for a barcode scanning app and a lot of people willing to pay for it I figure a small or non-existent database is probably what is holding back this feature. I'm wondering how many people are willing to go to their local grocery store and scan, photograph, and list nutritional values to help start a database for Spark? I'm not saying this as something official but I can not possibly see what else is holding back this feature for the Spark. If people are willing to pay for it and obviously want it then all that is left is basic data gathering. I would dearly love to stick with Spark but as my profile shows I have not really been active here. That is due to using the Daily burn app instead that does have a barcode reader. I am willing to go to a grocery store on my free time to help create a database for spark but I am not willing to input info into Daily burn then have to bounce to Spark and enter everything manually all over again. If you would be willing to take a few extra minutes while you are grocery shopping to scan and enter your items please show it. Please Spark, listen to all the people who are wanting this feature and know there are people willing to help!
