Try entering a 0 first. After that, you should be able to enter a decimal point.

Because the application won't accept decimals to represent a fraction of a given serving size the app is impossible to accurately track nutrition. To recreate select add food, then select a serving size such as a cup, attempt to add .5 to the amount. The field won't accept decimals.

Without this feature few meals can be recorded accuratley and so what is the point!? emoticon
