Tom, mine worked fine UNTIL I updated it to the most recent version. It's now unusable. I've installed and re-installed it on my iPhone four times now trying to get it to work. It simply doesn't. Soon as I log in, it tries to load then says that I have no Internet connection & tells me to try again later once I'm connected.
HELP!!!

In case folks haven't seen some of the other threads, the problems with app on older devices have been resolved in v2.5.3 of the app. Please download the update in the App Store.
Thanks, Tom

Hope the update fixes all the problems. I have stopped using iphone app because it is presently useless.
New low reached 149.2 lbs on 5/6/11. Made my weight watcher goal on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. New walk record 9/9/11, 4 miles in 58 minutes.

Hi all,
Copying and pasting what I just wrote in the other error thread...
"I think I may have found the cause of the error for users experiencing the food problem. Still not 100% certain, but fairly confident. The app was resubmitted to Apple yesterday for their approval. The last update took them 4 days to approve, but I've seen some approvals of 2 days in the past, so let's hope they're closer to 2 than 4 days this time. The new version is 2.5.2 and should show up as an update in the App Store when ready. I'll post another note on here when it has been approved."
Thanks, Tom

Sorry to say, I am still having all of the same problems with v 2.5.1 as with v 2.5. Cannot track food at all, as the app crashes and kicks me back to the home screen when I tap on Track Food. Can we revert to v 2.4 which worked just fine????

Hi all,
Version 2.5.1 was finally approved by Apple on Sunday. It should fix the food grouping issue. Please let me know if anyone is still seeing an issue and we'll get it fixed ASAP.
Thanks, Tom

I tried the http://mobile.sparkpeople.com and it won't work well for me. It has no way to bring up a food from the favorites list quickly. I will enter my foods on my computer, but am really looking forward to the updated iphone application! Thanx!

Thank-you. I will try the http link until the application updates again. Can't add any food at all. It just crashed to the ipod home screen. I look forward to the update! Thanx :D

I am having the same problem with the food groupings. Anyone know whether they plan to fix this anytime soon?

I agree. The app is crucial to my success.
Tom, I responded to your email. Just so others know what I reported to him, I told him about getting a connection error almost every time I change the serving size and a problem with changing the date in the Managing Goals setting.

Thank you for reporting the issue. I apologize for this sneaking out into the released version. A fix is on the way, but unfortunately, it will take a few days to make it through the App Store approval process. As a reminder, http://mobile.sparkpeople.com will work well on your iPhone until the updated app is ready.

I too am having problems with version 2.5 on my iPod Touch. Every time I try to enter foods, the app crashes and sends me back to the iPod home screen. Fitness and weight tracking work fine. Previous version, 2.4, worked very well; is it possible to revert to it?

Thanks for giving us the decimal point back for entering a new food. But I'm having a lot of problems with the food part of the app. Every time I click to add a food grouping to my tracker, I get the message "There was a problem retrieving data for this food. Please make sure you are connected or select a different item." I click the "OK" button and the timer just keeps spinning. In order to get it to stop, I click cancel and the food grouping hasn't been added.
