I am grateful to the posting contributors who write so clearly so that a newbie to the forum can fit right in. Thank you, iPhone app users!
I have the update to iPad app (July 18/ 2011), and I am experiencing the problem described by the first poster for this topic. Last night (Tues Jul 19),10.30 - 11.30 EDT, I had no problem using the app, including access to the Home page. This morning, 7.30 - 9.00 a.m. EDT, I get the error message described by JanisLovesPie - only a different flavor - "An error occured. Please try again". I, too, can use the nutrition and fitness trackers. I am using the same wifi connection that is allowing me to post to SparkPeople right now, so I know that the iPad access to WiFi is adequate.
Again, I am really enjoying my access to the SparkPeople community after an extended absence (years). Best wishes as continued resources go into the further development of the Apple apps, which I am enjoying tremendously.
