Also trying to eat more protein at mealtimes.
If that doesn't work, I indulge in a little treat that helps to satisfy the urge:
- Diet hot cocoa
- Crystal Light Lemonade or just very lemony water.
- A huge plate of salad (for crunchy cravings)
- Fresh fruit, maybe dipped in yogurt
- Slow churned ice cream
- A hard candy
Sometimes I'm actually just tired not hungry. I'm trying to get better at realizing this and doing a few jumping jacks to get the blood moving or have a cup of coffee if I really need it.
