At work it's not too bad. I can only eat what I bring. I don't bring money in with me so the vending machine is not an option. At home I try to have fresh fruit on hand all prepped for easy snacking, individual cheese sticks (string cheese), etc. At the store or in a restuarant that's tough. Distraction and really thinking through how a bad choice will feel.
Things haven't changed...You have.
Take responsibility for who you are and who you want to be.
If that doesn't work, I indulge in a little treat that helps to satisfy the urge: - Diet hot cocoa - Crystal Light Lemonade or just very lemony water. - A huge plate of salad (for crunchy cravings) - Fresh fruit, maybe dipped in yogurt - Slow churned ice cream - A hard candy
Sometimes I'm actually just tired not hungry. I'm trying to get better at realizing this and doing a few jumping jacks to get the blood moving or have a cup of coffee if I really need it.
