I just started out counting calories 2 weeks ago and I've lost weight. I haven't checked to see how much pounds exactly - I'll check my weight monthly (for now) but my measurements have reduced by 1-3.5 inches! Great! This really works. What have I been doing? Counting calories (with a passion). Measuring my food to stay within my calories recommended. I have also been drinking loads of water - I drink up to 12 8oz glasses on some days but nothing less than 8 glasses. And then I have been exercising on the elliptical. However, my exercise routine has not bene as religiious as my counting calories and recording foods eaten daily.
I am shedding but I am also concerned about the amount of calories I should consume as I feel dizzy sometimes. I now know I should consume 500 more. But why does sp not consider bf moms in calculating calories?
