I follow Cruise's Belly Fat cure eating plan. It is really easy except I do have to watch my portions on the "no count" items or I stall in the weight loss department. I am alsso coming to understand that all carbohydrates are not equal.

I told ya I'd share what I found out and here it is. The basics are, we need to reduce the amount of sugars (grams) we consume to get rid of belly fat. I was shocked to see how many grams are in healthy things! I can't imagine how many grams of sugar I've been eating in a day. Twenty just in the unsweetened cranberry juice, when I'm following the Fat Flush program.
In a nut shell, remember this: 15 / 6. No more than 15 grams of sugar a day. No more than 6 servings of carbohydrates a day. If a serving has .5g or less of sugar, it's not counted. If a serving has less than 5 grams of carbs, it's not counted. If it has 5-20, you count One; if it has 21-40 you count Two; if it has 41-60 you count Three. Maximum of Six a day. ABSOLUTELY NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS! You can have sugar alcohols, such as xylitol, maltitol and erythritol. And, you can have stevia.
The book has great visuals and recipes. It has tallies like Panda Express Sweet & Sour Pork at 41 / 7 (and you're only supposed to have 15 / 6 all day!) and you can make homemade Sweet & Sour pork stir fry with 1/2-cup rice for a total of 4 / 2. It has pages of "belly bad" vs. "belly good" snacks, salad dressings, bread, etc. "Bad" = Wheat Thins, but "Good" = "Better Cheddars"! Interesting stuff. I'll keep adding to my blog. You can check it out at TheBellyFatCure.com The book received praise from the likes of Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. David Katz, Jack LaLanne and Suzanne Somers. Dr. Oz appears in some of Jorge's interviews on YouTube.
