My goals for 2013 are:

1. To improve the success of my business so the hubby can quit his job
2. Log my calories every day
3. Move for at least 10 minutes every day

I have kept a 10 minutes of daily exercise streak going since December 30th (longest ever!). I've bee trying to get 30 minutes of cardio in 5x/week. I've only gone over my calories 2x this month, which is about 1x/week. So far, so good!


How is everyone else doing with their January goals?

For January

-Continue logging calories daily and stay within my ranges at least 5 days a week
-Heal from having baby #4
-Exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes (low impact)
-Slowly shrink my starchy carb, bread and pasta intake and increase my vegetable and fruit intake
-Cut my Dr Pepper consumption (Dr Pepper is my big addiction)

My January 2013 Challenge:
1) Drink at least 65 oz of water daily
2) Exercise at least 5 days per week
3) Adopt a healthier relationship with food:
- Eat only when hungry
- Eat small portions
- Eat healthier foods
- Don't restrict myself too much
- Journal what I eat every day
- Eat between 1200-1500 calories daily
4) Meditate at least 10 minutes per day - Preferably in the mornings
5) Pray daily

Now I look at you in peace; I don't eat you anymore.

My goals:
-exercise 4 days a week, and add weight lifting
-most importantly, I want to be brave enough to write all the food I eat down. I always cheat a little, and that won't get me where I want to be!

I'm only a few more pounds from my weight goal, but my clothes still aren't fitting the way I want, so my resolutions are similar to LBROW:

1. Keep a better eye on what I'm eating, my eating has been irregular at best, and I want to fix that. I want to make sure I keep off what I've lost and get to those last few!!!

2. Keep exercising. I went on a December hiatus after doing REALLY well. I want to FEEL fit. My cardio still isn't where I feel comfortable, but I'm starting with a 5k this Saturday. Wish me luck!!!

My main goal for January is to get back on track; I've completely avoided healthy eating and exercise for the past several months. Mainly I want to do these two things:

1. Plan and track my meals at least 5 times a week.
2. Sign up for and start training for a 5k run.

-Allow myself one cheat day per week.
-15-20 minutes of yoga 5 days a week.
-Hike twice.
-Gym 3x per week.
-Visit a nutritionist to better understand why my diet changes are not affecting my weight or measurements at all.

Goals for January 2013:

1. Eat healthier and exercise more: loose 5 lbs by end of the month by eating within my calorie range 6 days a week and exercising 30 minutes 5 times a week. Also, making and eating healthier meals with my family.

2. Give school 110%: make school work a priority and not procrastinate.

3. Be more active as a family, especially on the weekends and not spend every weekend being lazy on the couch.

Hey all.

My goals for 2013 are:
- Loose weight
By eating healthy and be active every day. This means that I need to eat more vegetables and fruit, drink more water and prepare healthy meals. Being active means at least 1 time a week running and at least 4 times a week going to the gym, where I will follow 2 times a strenght building lesson. To reach this goal it is important I plan my week very well and I don't procrastinate.
- Live healthy
I will not forbid myself to eat choclate, cookies or other junkfood. Knowing myself it only makes the tempation bigger. So, I need to encourage myself to make healthier choices by eating more fruit, vegetables and drinking more water. This way I don't feel 'hungry' and grab for junkfood.
I also need to figure out how to deal more succefully with stress (it often leads to me eating a lot of crap), maybe by trying to ignore the urge at first, if it doesn't work to drink a tall glass of water and eat something healthy (fruit or vegetables). Or try writing down why I have a craving for choclate or cookies when I know I'm not hungry, maybe something is stressing me out and I don't recognize it.
Next to eating healthy I think I give meditation another try. It's relaxing and puts a lot of perspective in my life. I'll start slow with 10-15 minutes a day.
Next to meditating it's important for me to write in a journal, to get all the stress and everything off of me. It can help with the healthy eating too, as I am an emotional eater.
- Be more socially active
I realize when I look back at 2012 I need to be more socally active. I have the feeling life passes me by and I stand on the side and just watch. I need to meet new people with the same ideas and goals as I have, 'cause a lot of my friends now do not share the same interests andI have the feeling they hold me back.
- Study hard
This year will be though, so I need to work/study hard. First half year I have my internship which will require a strict schedule with a lot of work. I need to plan everything right and go for the full 200%. Next I start my masters, which will be really difficult and will take a lot of my time.So, no procrastination. Keep my eyes on the goal to get my degrees and a final internship abroad.

My goals for January are:
Go to the gym for at least 4 times
Start my running again and get back on track.
Eat more fruit, vegetables and drink more water, especially when I have a craving for sweets/junkfood.
Start meditating for 10 minutes a day and write at least 1 time a week in my journal.

Wow,it got a lot longer than I thought it would be when I started writing... emoticon

My goals for January:

Use my gym membership more, 3 to 4 days a week
No soda (I recently fell off that wagon.)
Eat healthier meals and snacks
Keep a food journal (so I make better choices)
Walk/Run 20 miles a week
I want to lose 5 pounds by the end of the month
And get my learners permit (I don't know how to drive, and I'm 29.)
Hopefully the changes i make now will make losing the rest of the weight easier, because i will have made better choices. I know I can do this.

My goals are:

- Continue the Beachbody Insanity workout program 2-3 days per week (currently 21 days in)
- Visit the gym 2 times per week (either kickboxing or strength training)
- Eat at least one green vegetable 5 days per week (hope to eventually do this every day)
- No soda (so far I've only had two sodas in the past six months)
- No fast food (so far I've had only two fast food meals in the past year)
