Hi Crysmys. I don't believe the bands are the same...but I wouldn't fret too much about it. I would go by the feel of it. If they give you enough resistance to just do the number of reps, then use them. I use bands that I received with the P90 program over 10 years ago and the ones that came with Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire - or was it ChaLEAN Extreme? I forget which is what anymore. But my point is, like weights, they are different resistance so I would adjust and use them to do what the exercise is about. Make sense? Good luck.
Can anyone tell me if the ChaLEAN resistance bands are the same as the P90X bands? I bought my DVD set second-hand and they didn't come with bands.. I thought I could use my husband's from his p90x set but they don't see quite the same as the ones I see in the Chalean DVDs. Colors are the same, but maybe not the length/strength? If I wrap one around each foot for a squat exercise, the handles come barely to my mid-calf. Either they're not the same, or they're w-a-a-ay too strong for me... or both. :) Does anyone out there know?
