New to the forums and I hope I get some advice. My friend recently loaned me her copy of Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme because she just got those P90x and Insanity workout videos on Christmas. Well, after she gave me a wake up call to how unfit I really was (she made me do a P90x workout with her, and I barely made it through the warmup and a couple of exercises before becoming to winded and couldn't continue) I decided enough was enough. I can't believe that I've let myself get the way I am now. But, I'm over that and looking forward to getting healthier, which is my main motivation. That't not to say that getting fitter and looking good isn't a bonus of course.
Anyways, to whomever has these workout DVDs would you suggest jumping straight to the Hybrid workout schedule? My friend advised me that this would be the way to go for me, but I was wondering what the consensus says. Would you agree with my friend? Or would you suggest me doing one workout then the next?
I tried aa workout from each different programs and yeah, they are definitely challenging, but I can keep up more somewhat. No more making fun of Turbo Fire because that is definitely just not a girl workout.
I truly hope someone responds back to me. No one on the Team Beachbody website message boards wrote back to give me advice..
