tip for today: keep up with tracking your food/drinks and exercise as often as possible. it will keep you mindful of what you are putting in your body, even if you aren't actively trying to lose weight.

tip for today. do you have a favorite exercise or activity that burns some calories? if yes, and you haven't been able to get into it like usual, just do it 2 days this week. once that becomes doable, then add another day. keep going.

tip for today. use your sense of smell. if it doesn't smell right, DON'T consume it. I like to think i have a strong stomach and can take a lot of things. however, recently i found out that it isn't as strong as i thought. therefore, i am (reluctantly) in the habit of throwing food and drinks away when they simply DON'T smell right. I DO try to push the limit sometimes, but not as often as i used to.

tip for today. treat yourself to something nice every so often. it will help you feel good about the progress you are making and want to keep going. however, the treat isn't everyday. LOL

tip for today. don't ask your co-worker (who is REALLY good at making excellent cakes) to make your favorite NY cheesecake and DH's favorite dark chocolate iced cake. ESPECIALLY since there is more than half of each left. LOL.
reminder for next year, only ask for one cake and much smaller. ROTF LMAO

tip for today. if you can make it at home, do so. that way, you can control the ingredients and save $. and who doesn't want to save $. LOL. I made a "mocha". brewed coffee and folger's mocha cappuccino powder.

tip for today, DON"T spill your $4 starbucks skinny peppermint mocha all over your work computer keyboard and desk. doesn't make for a happy morning. desk and cubicle does smell nice, though. LOL

OK. it starts today. here is how i hope it works. we will have 3 people giving tips weekly. one will give tips on activity/exercise for big chunks of time (like running, as an example). I will give tips on small chunks of time (Iike walking dogs, for example). it would be really nice if we could have a 3rd person to help with food/drink tips. let me know if you are interested in the exercise or food tips.

I'm in and thanks for the challenge. Leaving for the southern lands where you know we eat all those rich food next weekend. emoticon Maintaining over the holidays will automatically be a challenge for me.
