Cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, are our nation's No. 1 killer. To urge Americans to join the battle against these diseases, since 1963 Congress has required the president to proclaim February "American Heart Month."
So for this month we are focusing on one of the American Heart Association's seven steps.... GET MOVING!
The Heart Association suggests at least 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise. Or a combination of moderate and vigorous.
So post your numbers as often as you can and tell us how it is going.
