Today I am gratefull for snow. I know many of you now think I am crazy, but the shoveling and having to walk the dog in it all burns extra calories.
If you are detirmined not to hibernate this winter but to get out and enjoy the outdoors regardless, check out this article on how to dress warm for excersize: http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitn ess_articles.asp?id=378
This time of the year I am thankful for goals. I have met my goals for last year and I am starting to think about what my goals for next year are. This gives me a month or so to think about them and commit so I can start the year on day one moving towards my new goals. I am contemplating a half marathon, but not sure I can do it. Perhaps I need to learn to talk myself into some goals. If you need to work on positive self-talk too check out this article.... www.sparkpeople.com/resource/motivat io n_articles.asp?id=838
This month's challenge in honor of thanksgiving is to post what you are thankful for. I'll be trying to post every couple of days with links to great SP articles so check back in regularly to see what others are thankful for and to get motivated!
