Okay, I totally flaked at the end of this challenge. I did want to report, however that I weighed 195.4 as of 9/25/09 - I lost ALMOST 3 pounds this summer. You'll notice that there was no exclamation point...it should have been much more, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
What's the new challenge gonna be?

Working on becoming healthy and happy, one day at a time!

Time for a mini challenge! For the next three weeks there will be a three part challenge. Give yourself one point for each day that you consume at least 8 glasses of water, one point for each day that you have at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies, and one point for each day that you do strength training or cardio exercise. That's 3 points per day. Starting 8/3. Hope this combo challenge helps keep you focused and fit during the last month of summer.

Hi all...Herownbeat, thank you for reminding me to post the challenge!!! I do try, but often miss start dates...sorry everyone.
OK, our next challenge is for fruits and veggies. Give yourself one point for every serving per day for the next two weeks. For instance, yesterday I had grapes, strawberries, salad with onion, celery, carrots and mushrooms, so I'm giving myself 6 servings. (I combined the celery and onion into one serving as they weren't full servings each.) If you hit at least 5 a day for 14 days you will have accumulated 70 points. Good luck!!!

The water challenge is an easy one for me, since I average more like 80 ounces per day.
Any food challenge that pops up should also be easy since eating healthy has become a way of life.
When I'll get in trouble is when the exercise challenges that I anticipate will be forthcoming pop up.
Exercise is, has always been, and probably always will be a monumental challenge for this old lady. *sigh*

OK Sparkers, here we go again. This challenge is a weight loss challenge for June 1 through September 21 (last official day of summer) That's 16 weeks, with 8 weigh-ins. There will also be personal challenges posted so check in often to see what's new. Good luck everyone!!!

First Challenge: For the next two weeks drink 64 ounces each day. One point for each successful day. Possible total: 14 points.
