It's hard right now as DH is still working temps while looking for a FT job. We are staying with my aunt and she gets help with food from her church. Once a month we get help at the food pantry. So it's a lot of processed foods and beef.
When we have a little extra money (after making sure DH has gas money and giving my aunt what we owe for rent etc.. we splurge on chicken or fish but that's usually just a couple meals, maybe weekly maybe monthly depends on how much wrk there is.
The best I can do food wise is try t keep my water intake up, increase my vegies and prepare eggs and meat with less fat.
It's very discuraging but at least I am not gaining lately but 180 is ridculous.
