The laundry soap currently is basically washing soda and essential oil. Vinegar for rinse. I haven't changed her soap in ages and I stil have 3 patches of eczema.

I have been meaning to try Dr. Bronner's. I am careful about switching soaps as Fern gets eczema so easily.

"If you can't eat it, don't put it on your skin!"

Your health and the health of your family is important.
Stop putting toxic chemicals on your skin when you wash.
your skin, the largest organ we have, is a sponge~

~castile soap~ it is not a brand of soap, but a natural soap, made of vegetable (usually olive oil) oil rather than animal fat, or synthetic substances. Chemical free & non-toxic which is why we use it!

castile soap is SO versatile. From body wash, shampoo, laundry & dishes, castile soap can be used for it all!

castile comes in bar or liquid form, and varies in price.

bar~ many use Kirks for household/detergents. avg $1.00 per bar.
*I personally do not like it for body.

~ Dr. Bronner's. We all love Bronners soap. While it is more expensive, avg $4.00 per bar it is usually saved for the body/hair cleaning, but can be used in any of our recipes requiring castile soap.

~Zote (jabon Zote) a mexican soap, made of coconut oil, tallow, (does contain 'optical brighteners' ((not sure what those are)) and essential cintrnella oil which gives it a bright, lemony scent. avg $2.00/bar
*this actually is not a true castile soap~ tallow is animal fat- but it works great as a a laundry soap*

~and do not forget good ol' Ivory! For more than 125 years, Ivory has been around! It is the closest (store shelf) to a natural soap, with a minimal amount of chemicals added. avg $1.00/bar or $4.00 5pack
