Has anyone here used baking soda 'shampoo'? Another site I was on not long ago was touting it and I've thought about trying it, but I'm sure my hubby would raise an eyebrow. He's a die hard T-gel man due to psoriasis of the scalp.

Any recommendations?

I don't know how I'd get along without baking soda, borax, and vinegar.

Think seed starting and gardening. It will help the snow pass.

Our rains are usually just enough to make a mess (in other words a couple drops in the dust) on the windshield.. OR.. we get a down poor.. when we get those drips, we always seem to get dry lightening.. and like last year, twisters.. ugh.. not looking forward to spring now

It is fantastic in the kitty box. I love it. I use the old stuff from the fridge to scrub tubs, toilet and sinks instead of just throwing it out.

I am also curious about #25.

Great website!!

I'm gonna have to try:
#23. Turn Baking soda into modeling clay by combining it with one and 1/4 cups of water and one cup of cornstarch.
#25. Wipe your windshield with it to repel rain.
#33. Sprinkle it onto your catís litter box to absorb the bad odor.

I regularly use several of the other things there (ex, washing diapers, keeping in the fridge ect) But the above list are ones I never knew of!!

baking soda is a powerful cleaning agent. it is a very versatile, natural substance that has so many wonderful uses around the home. baking soda is found throughout nature, so while being safe for your family, it is safe for the earth! =)

plus, my favorite, it's cheap!!

~Stains, clogs, grease, tough jobs~ everyjob through out the home can be taken care of and left clean smelling with baking soda.
~For the body- from insect bites to indigestion to toothpaste!!
