I have yet to set any goals for myself. Since I have switched to maintenance mode I have been kind of drifting. I am still eating well and doing all my exercise but I feel something missing. Like I should have become a professional body builder or an underwear model. Maybe I just need to join a new sport or start a new class. I am going to eat my banana now and ponder my place in the world.

Well, considering that, normally for me I am all gong ho at the beginning of the month, then towards the end of it, I fall back to old habits.
This month I am focusing on getting into new routines, eating breakfast, eating lots of fruits and veggies, whole grain and not eating anything that will affect my IBS.
Another focus is exercising at the MINIMUM of 90 minutes a week.
Also, telling my friends and family that I NEED their support, that I don't want to see eye rolling when I chose to eat less, or chose not to eat dessert. They need to understand that I have to lose the weight, or I could quite possibly die at a young age.
Other than that, right now, my focus is on there...next month will be Loving myself...because if you don't love yourself, you can't expect anyone to love you.

Christmas Goal 232 Pounds
Way to go on quitting smoking! Keep trying and use any support you can find. I know it's not easy!
My goals are:
1) Meditate for 15 minutes a day
2)Take a picture for a photojournal every day
3) Eat 4-5 fruits or vegetables per day
I'm starting a whole new job(s) and routine, so I don't want to push too hard just yet and burn out. Next month the routine exercise regime starts again! It's just too much to try and make a routine when things aren't settled right now. But that doesn't mean I can't make other healthy choices.

Quitting smoking is tough, Diane, but totally worth it! I did it almost two years ago and it was was the greatest/toughest thing I've done. You can do it!
These are some great resolutions -- happy new year, everyone!
1) wake up at a decent hour (9 am) so that I can straighten out my sleep habits.
2) start walking/jogging/running in the morning 3 days out of the week.
I did both today, and I instantly feel the difference from last year!
If you can say that everything is meaningless, you've said all you can say, but personally I want to live life feeling the meaning of every word deeply.

Happy New Year, everyone! Here's to a fantastic new year and a great start in January!
Here are my January goals:
-Eat breakfast every day within one hour of waking up
-Exercise at least 30 min. everyday
-Drink 8 glasses of water a day
-Log my food/fitness on SP daily
Slow and steady wins the race!
* Lose 6 pounds
* Tone & do cardio w/o every day (minus Sunday = day of rest)
* Stay under my max calories!
And last but not least all my running goals:
* Increase my running speed from 5.2 to 5.5
* Increase endurance from 5 minutes to 9
* Run 3 days a week for total monthly mileage of 30
This is a great idea!
#2-Try lots of veg recipes from the new cook books I got
#3-Some form of exercise every day
And the biggie- Quit smoking!! Diane
To be more alert as to why I am eating. Is it true hunger; or what. Then, if it's not true hunger, how to walk away from the food!

1. To do some sort of fun exercise daily like dancing or swimming for 60 minutes daily.
2. To stay on the Weight Watchers Plus 2012 Program.
3. To be able to get off the blood pressure medicine.
What are your fitness/health/food goals for January? Maybe frame that within the context of goals for the whole year, if you're inclined to think in those terms.
