GOLDENROSE5, wow, how did the rope get split, must be too much friction between the gravel ground and the rope, hehe. Hope your rope arrives soon! I've never experience that but I did get the rope snap, probably from friction where this rope length adjuster "bite" the rope. Which is why I end up bought a heavier rope, hehe.

07-29 = 155x in 2-min, late afternoon.
It was 2-min Interval, 2 sets of 50s jump / 10s rest.
1st minute, I did only 50x coz I had to adjust my loose pant and slipping bra strap and also someone interrupted my jump rope to get something somewhere near where I jumped.
2nd minute, I got 105x, yay!

Warm up tonight with 10s/50s skip intervals...

Then cool down with 10s/40s intervals...

I couldn't understand why I couldn't get near 100 jumps in my cool down... until I realised I'd chosen intervals that were 10s LESS that the warm up... haha! Silly me!

I did my jump rope as part of 7-min intervals (14 sets of 20s exercise / 10s rest), combining with core workout. What I did:
Core workout #1
Jump Rope #1 = 45x
Core workout #2
Jump Rope #2 = 40x
Core workout #3 - 9
Jump Rope #3 = 40x
Core workout #10
Jump Rope #4 = 40x

I was so sleepy when I did the workout, perhaps because I ate too much on previous night that my body still need longer sleep to process the food, hehe.

STEPH, it's good that you miscalculate less not more, hehe. Yesterday, I messed up with my calculation and it was with a calculator LOL

07-24 = 176x in 2-min.
I did my jump rope in a 5-min intervals:
5 sets of 50s exercise, 10s rest, what I did were burpees - jump rope - burpees - jump rope - burpees

By the way, STEPH, you miscalculate, your balance should be 3116 :D
On 20th (or maybe it was 19th at your time zone), yours was 4116 - 500, should be 3616 then next day, minus 500 again, so latest number should be 3116.

I did the same as yesterday and warmed up with 100 jumps in 56s & 150 jumps in 1:08.
For cool down I added them together and timed 250 jumps - 2:20.

(& haha FATHIN, untangling your rope - I do that all the time!! Or I start my timer and forgot where I put my rope down! Duh!)

07-19 = 2-min of 145x, night.

What I did was an 8-min intervals. 4 sets of 20s on mini tram / 10s rest, 20s burpees / 10s rest, 20s on elliptical / 10s rest, 20s jump rope / 10s rest.
My jump rope = 25 - 40 - 45 - 40 (the first one, I had to spend precious seconds to untangle my rope!)

I did two small sets of jump rope before and after my workout.
I did 100 jumps for time, followed by 150 jumps for time. Before my workout my times were 51s/1:03. After workout times were 48s/1:15.
Improved on the 100 but not on the 150, too tired haha!

I jump rope tonight while watching Miss Congeniality, as if I'm inspired to be into beauty pageant or as what they said in the movie, scholarship program, hehe.
I did intervals, first five were how long I can jumped without stopping and last was balance time to reach 10-min and sets of 50x.
#1 1:13 = 150x
#2 1:18 = 200x
#3 1:15 = 250x
#4 1:23 = 243x
#5 1:41 = 250x
#6 3:10 = 400x (8 sets of 50x)

My legs burned so much during the jump rope session as I haven't jumped this long and over 1000x!

I did a 16 sets of 20s exercise / 10s rest where half was jump rope and half was burpees. I alternated 1-min between those two:
Sets 01, 02, 05, 06, 09, 10, 13, 14 = JR = 45 - 42 - 45 - 40 - 43 - 42 - 35 - 43 = 335x
Sets 03, 04, 07, 08, 11, 12, 15, 16 = Burpees = 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 4 = 39x = 39x (one more to get perfect 5s!)

Yay, I have passed 1500x, so the rest of them will be completed in fasting days :D

After my workout I did some extra interval which included 2 50s intervals of jump rope. I did 113 and 99.

07-04 = 180x
07-05 = 670x
Balance = 2732 - (180 + 670) = 1882

On 4th, I did 2-min jump rope after 10-min ZWOW #70 www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUxDmpLqN6A
My jump rope: 50 - pause to wipe off sweat from running into my nose LOL - 100 - pause to tighten back my hair band - 30

On 5th, I did 8-min intervals - 15s bounce lightly on mini tram / 45s jump rope.
My jump rope:
90 - 75 - 90 - 90 - 90 - 85 - 75 - 75 (I tried not to fall under 70!)

My aim to get total 1500 (half of my goal) before I start my fasting :D

Wow, marathon training in July. I am only running if I can get out between 3 am and 5 am - it's just too hot and humid for my poor old body by the time the sun comes up.

I have 55min planned out in my July morning workout schedule. Mid month I start marathon training and I haven't quite figured out where I'm fitting in the jump rope, but I will go ahead and shoot for the average of 2min/day.

Count me in 3,000 jumps. I have been running and I think the challenge takes the better part of my heart and time right now. I will leave my jump rope goals at that, hoping to use that for warm ups before running.

Ok, I joined this page many moons ago, and still don't have a jump rope. Tomorrow is my birthday, and my gift to me is going to be a jump rope. My goal will be 60 jumps a day.

My goal for July 2013 is to do 3000 jumps!
I will be fasting for Ramadhan so even though I want to do more than 3000x, I still need to consider that I might need to preserve my energy while fasting :D

If you are a Beginner or a Restart, try to jump at least 2 minutes/day or 60x/day or total 60-min or 2000x.
Intermediate or Advanced, I know that you can do more than double the Beginner's numbers!
