I've completed my May jump rope goal! Yay!
I did intervals for my warm up, 10 rounds of 10/30s. Numbers were - 60-71-63-68-73-68-67-62-70-78 Total = 680 jumps
Cool down, same interval, numbers - 79-59-67-65-74-53-62-65-70-79, Total = 673 jumps.
Very similar!

BALANCE = 330 - 1,353 :D

-1,023.

So my goal was 3,000 and I finished on over 4,000. Woohoo! emoticon

I did with just my eyes closed for now... It was my first time trying it out haha. It will be fun to try it with intervals... one eye closed, rest, other eye closed, rest, both eyes closed! Or just blindfold myself completely. Will have to be careful of the furniture though!

How did you do blind jumps, by using a blindfold or eyelids? How about try one-eye close, I bet it will be more challenging for balance :D

Remembered to give a different jump idea a go...

Warmed up for workout with 100 blind jumps.
Cooled down with 100 blind jumps.

Went better than I thought! I kept shifting to my left without realising with my eyes closed, ha.

Balance = 330

I like the % analysis a lot too! Very motivating!!!

I had two interval jump ropes today, one 5 minute warm up and then one 5 minute cool down. Warm up racked up 400 jumps and the cool down was 441 jumps.
Total of 841.

BALANCE = 1,371 - 441

= 530

Another badge for me today, did 15 seconds on a single foot, that was something I never ever imagined I could do. I had been closing my eyes too (blind jumps) and I realized time flies when I do that.

Wow! Congrats on getting all 40 and above, that's really hard work and skills!

For me, I look for how comfortable I grip the handles and the weight of the rope is light enough for me to whip the rope but heavy enough that give me a bit restrain. I've tried several and my most favourite is the Reebok jump rope (the one without weight). The handles' shape allow me to hold them nicely, not too big (too big makes more uncomfortable to hold) but not too slim (somehow slimmer makes my hands slip from holding), I would say the handles are ergonomic :) I like the weight of the rope as when I tried lighter rope, somehow easier for me to trip LOL And I think the material of the rope probably last longer than what I used to have last time, don't think will snap broken too quickly!

05-13 = 620 in 8-min
Total = 2250 + 620 = 2870
Balance = 1130

What I did: I alternated 2-min jump rope with 1-min rotating planks (plank + side plank (left) + reverse plank + side plank (right)) so it was 4 rounds of 2-min jump rope mixing with 4 rounds of 1-min rotating planks. I decrease my jump rope - 170 to 160 to 150 to 140.

Yeah I have done some jump rope with 20/10 intervals... not for a while though. I will add that to before/after my next couple of workouts! It's a sure way of getting more skips hehe!

I did 100 jumps to warm up tonight.
200 during zwow#10
100 jumps for cool down.

Total for today = 400.

Balance: 3608 - 400

05-03 = 750 in 10-min
Total = 220 + 750 = 970
Balance = 1030

What I did:
First half, I jump rope 45s (got 90 each round) and on mini tram 15s. On second 5-min, I decreased my jump rope (80, 70, 60, 50, 40) and more rest or on mini tram as #1 my rope tangled more; #2 the bamboo mat where I jumped got "looser" that it got kinda slippery and #3 the decreased pace was my cool down.

I'm new to this. I have to see how my heels respond. I used to have heel pain due to plantar fasciitis but with the right shoes I am pain free.
My goal is just to jump 60 jumps each day 7 days a week =420 jumps/week. multiplied by 4 weeks=1680 jumps in a month. If I don't experience any pain this month, I will double my jumps next month so wish me luck.

Set your goal, either total minutes or total jumps and see if you can reach it by end of this month :D

For beginner, I suggest minimum 60 minutes (1 min/day) or 2000 jumps (60x jump/day with extra 200).
For intermediate/advance, I challenge you to do double or triple the amount of a beginner for whichever you choose, total minutes or total jumps!

Maximize your efforts this May!
