Don't know if I'll set a new goal or just stop counting. I've really enjoyed this challenge. I had added practicing 'crow' to my sets: 60x JR + 3x pushup burpees + 3x crow. My crow has improved immensely. I began only being able to hold it for 1.5 breaths. Today 8 breaths! Now, I need to work on holding it for 10 deep, slow breaths.

Okay I'll try for 250 sets. So:

PETALIA, did you change your goal? Coz on 15th, your balance is 70 sets, total 105 sets, goal 175 sets. Then on 17th, your balance is 88 sets, total 123 sets and it seems that you have new goal, 211 sets. I think if you still aim for 175 sets, your balance should be 34 and total 141 sets.

I did 5 this morning as a 'quickfire' for my day. Wasn't able to time it.
Did 5 for my workout tonight also, and timed it - 4:40. Pretty slow.

03-12 = 10 sets (JR 60x + Burpees 3x) in 12:00 (did after ZWOW #09 in 10:00).
Balance = 88 -10 = 78 sets!
Total = 12 + 10 = 22 sets

Initially, planned to do 3 sets but I somehow I was motivated to do more, telling myself I will stop when stopwatch's seconds showed more than 45s.

I just started my jump rope challenge today, yay! Actually, honestly, after my 15-day trip then sickness recovery afterwards, I just bounce back to exercise on 6th LOL Good thing I did lots of walking on my trip or my body probably turns into mashed potato now, haha. Need to get positive thinking or I might give up entirely on exercising!

03-07 = 3 sets (JR 60x + Burpees 3x) in 03:17 (Did after ZWOW #07 in 20:43)
Balance = 100 - 3 = 97 sets!

Addendum: I've added practicing 'crow' to my sets since the start of this challenge. I'm doing 60x jumping rope + 3x pushup burpees + 3x crow attempts. I'm only tracking the JR + Burpees on this thread since that is what is relevant. Nonetheless, since starting this challenge, my crow has increased in the amount of breaths I'm able to hold it for. Crow was once of my fitness goals for 2013 which I listed on another thread on this team's pages. Maybe, maybe, by the end of March, I'll be able to do crow for 10 deep breaths. That is a non-jump rope goal of mine. I'll let you know when it happens.

You can do pushup burpees, I think that's the most well-known or you can try different type of burpees. Agree, you can push over your limit but don't go way overboard, we don't want negative side-effects.

I do push-up burpees. Is that what you're thinking of? I like the sound of this challenge. I like the idea of integrating jumping rope into interval training. I don't know yet what my goal will be. I'll have to think about it. Maybe this time I won't go overboard.

Hi Team!

For March 2013, let's us do something slightly different!
Combine Burpees with Jump Rope:
Do AT LEAST 3 reps of Burpees after 60x jump rope OR after 60s jump rope.
See how many sets of Jump Rope 60s/60x plus Burpees 3x that you can do in this month.

For beginners, I suggest you try to get at least 30 sets of Jump Rope + Burpees in this month.
For intermediate/advance, I challenge you to do at least 100 sets in this month!

You can set your goals of how many sets in this team forum OR if you don't want to join this challenge, set your total jumps or minutes for March 2013.
