From participating in this challenge I have found that, for me, I can get obsessive and do more than what is healthy. I've learned this sort of thing is something I have to be careful about and has been a difficulty for me since I was a kid. Oh my. I'll keep tracking my daily jumps in our team goals. Even though taking part in this month's challenge backfired for me, I had a lot of fun. I hope you all are having fun with it, too.

02-10 1-min (140x) ropeless jump rope after 10-min ZWOW #05

My left pointer finger had small cut where my 1-handle rope kept rubbing (the rope part, not the handle grazed my finger) and later on sort of made small blister and the blister broke open, ouch! Can't wait to jump again with my normal two handles rope which hopefully I will remember to get back from brother's house where I left it.

I've reached my goal around noon today so from now on, my goal is to jump 1-min after I did ZWOW workouts, to see how much I can jump after quite intense workout :D

That didn't seem like enough to me so I did 75 yesterday.
Today, I jumped 200. Half frontwards, half backwards.

I warmed up for ZWOW#54 with two sets of jumping-

130 jumps = 1:00 (i forgot to stop at 125 LOL)

Then I cooled down with another 125 jumps = 1:02.

Hi, I am new to this challenge. I like to jump rope, but I am having problems with my right knee and calf problems on my left leg. My goal is 1500 jumps this month. I hope I can do more than that but, 1500 for right now. emoticon

I've started to jump rope blind-folded! Some time ago, i practiced jumping rope with my eyes closed but I could always cheat. With a blind fold, I go much longer. I get a little dizzy. A couple times a week, when I have the time and space for longer jump rope sessions, I devote a part of my time to blind-folded rope jumping. I've been trying to jump blind up to 500x at a time. Maybe my goal could be 2500x blind jumps in February? Yikes, setting a goal is scary!

My goal for February 2013 is 1000 jumps. I will be away from home half of the month and where I'm going, I can't freely jump rope nor any other exercises but I think will do lots and lots of walking because of visiting places :D

What about others, what's your goal?

Different people, different goals! What do you aim for this February, total minutes or total jumps?

For jump rope newbie or comeback, if you want to aim for total jumps, try 1000 jumps or if you want to aim for total minutes, try 60 minutes.

For intermediate or advanced, do at least triple numbers of the newbie so either at least 3000 jumps or at least 180 minutes!

Remember to post your progress in this forum!
