I set timer 5 minutes and did sets of 50s, got 10 sets and 20s.

01-29 600x in 4 minutes (150x per minute & did each minute at different time).
Balance = 1107

I jumped each minute as intervals, not jumping continously. I also had to jump with one-handle rope, my favourite rope was accidentally left at my brother's house.

Yesterday, did one minute jump rope, 128, yay! Then did a 4 sets of 30s strength and I realized I still have long way to go to get back active daily, I was so tired after just 3-minute of high intensity LOL Maybe still have leftover tiredness from ZWOW!

01-26 128x in one minute

Balance = 1707

I'm back!

Yesterday (Jan 24th), I returned to doing exercises and today, my body feel so sore LOL
The last day I did before yesterday was Jan 6th so it was more than two weeks apart! - thanks to my depression+self-pity mode, uhuh.

What I did, ZWOW #51 in 19:10 then 1-min stretch then 2-min jump rope (220x). The jump rope, I did moderate fast jump 150x then in last 30s, I did as fast as I can (got 70x).

01-24 = 220 in 2 minutes

Balance = 1835

Is anybody still in for January? Hehe - I hope you're all getting on great!! :D

I did a little skip routine to add more January jumps tonight. I set a number for each jump and timed how long it took for each.
This is what it looked like~

100 x regular skips = 45s
100 x high knee's = 39s
100 x jack skips = 1:19s
100 x scissor skips - 1:07
50 x left foot jumps = 45s
50 x right foot jumps = 25s
25 reverse jumps = 16s
100 x side to side = 1:14

Total Jumps = 625.
Total January jumps = 2125. Woohoo! Makes me wanna jump around! ;)

I completed my January goal of 1500 jumps today. Woohoo!

I did my final 200 like this~
100 in my warmup in 55 seconds.
100 after an upper body workout in 43 seconds - beating all of my previous times.

Now it's all about putting more jumps in!

Beat my 100 skip score today with 48 seconds! Yay!

Yesterday I did two sets of 100 skips.
One was 55 seconds and the other was 57 seconds. Felt like improvement to get it under 1 minute!

Balance was 700 , take away 200 = 500.

Today, I did 100 skips and get this.. it took 1:00 exactly! LOL.

New balance = 400.

First I did 1:14 150x normal then 2:19 150x reverse then break from jump rope with strength (ZWOW #50 2 rounds only, 11:52) then continue jump rope with 1:00 normal 120x.

I am in, although I will really love the beginners challenge of 1000jumps or 60 minutes

Hi Team for new year, new month!

Let's set our January 2013's jump rope goals, whether you want to aim for total jumps or total minutes! Different people have different preferences :D

For jump rope newbie or comeback, if you want to aim for total jumps, try 1000 jumps or if you want to aim for total minutes, try 60 minutes.

For intermediate or advanced, do at least triple numbers of the newbie so either at least 3000 jumps or at least 180 minutes!
