Hi and welcome to the group. Jump rope is a good way to get exercise in when you don't have a lot of time.

My name is Kristy. I'm 28 years old and getting ready to finally finish college with a degree in Environmental and Sustainable Development. I've been an off again on again student for years because I've had to pay my way myself. For those of you wondering what that field means that I'm learning how to conserve our earth's natural resources.

I'm married to a Coast Guardsman and will be moving out of Kentucky soon and onto a coast somewhere...we don't have our next orders to where yet, but we hope on the east coast of the U.S.

We have two mini daschunds, Maggy and Copper. We want to try to have a child sometime next year after we move.

I joined Spark in June 2008 because over the last several years in school, I gained 20 pounds. I want to take that back off and get to my once fit and healthy 120 lbs. If I get to 125, I'll be happy. I've been stuck in the 130s for awhile and am having to find other ways to sneak cardio in my day which is why I joined the jump rope challenge.

This past year I've learned how to do many things, but among my accomplishments my favorite is learning how to Scuba Dive. I got my certification last year and want to get my advanced certification this spring.

Now, I look forward to meeting all of you! I love Sparkpeople and love the people I meet on here.
