I want to be where you are so bad! I just started this journey 5 months before finding SP. I can't wait for the day I'm posting, I reached my weight loss goal and now I'm working on toning and maintaining. That's why I joined a few more teams tonight. I chose teams that focused on fun exercises. I'm going to give my workouts variety so my body doesn't get use to anything.

I know exactly what you mean...my daughter will probably get engaged soon and she wants to have children immediately after. She told me I have to gain my weight back because her kids will need a nice round grandmother...like she has. Her father's mother is a typical grandmother (for about 20 yrs ago) - she's round where grandchildren what her to be (and has no desire to loose any of the excess weight/fat). I don't see the problem with being a fit and hot grandmother...she doesn't even have the kids yet and she's trying to change me. Have a great day and there's no way you'll be anything other than the "hot" mom...you're nearing the end of your pregnancy and you're still working out. You're my hero!
I feel the same way. I look at some women on spark and it proves what i've been saying all along. Whenever my hubby says I'm the mum of 3 kids now and I cant expect my waist to be 25" anymore I say to him yes I can. He's still caught up in an era of our mothers. This is 2008, soon it will be 2009, its the trend to be a hot sexy mama with as many as 5 or more kids. I want to be looking great when I am 40. So good luck to all of us.

Thanks! Did you ever have a moment when you realized that the status quo just wasn't cutting it? I did. About 7 months ago, I decided it was time to do something and I did not want to turn 40 and still have the extra pounds of fat hanging around. I knew if I didn't do anything then, I probably never would. The members of this site helped keep me motivated and on track.
