I want to jump into this challenge as well. i am on vacation over the next week. I did walk 3 miles on Saturday and I am afraid I overdid it. My back is bothering me again. I am going to work out every day over this next week. I want to start working on my core in the hopes that it will help my back. I know I have to be careful so that I don't do any further injury to it. But, I have to get this weight off. I think it will help my back.

I'm jumping on this challenge! I even signed up for a 5K next month to give myself a goal for walking and jogging 2-3 times a week. Today I did intervals for 1.6 miles in 26 minutes.

Alrighty, I'm jumping in on this challenge, too! I've been trying to get lots of walking in, but only been averaging like once a week. Maybe making it an actual challenge goal will motivate me to get out and do it more often! Plus, I'm doing a 5k race in a few days, the extra walking will be good practice!

I have joined in on this challenge. My calorie intake is below 1200-1400 per day. And I'm still not losing weight. So that means the dreaded exercising. Walking 30 minutes 2x per week sounds like a reasonable goal!

JENNYMOMMA3, I think I am going to join you in this goal. We got a brand new week ahead of us. I live in New England & with you, also have the cold weather as a challenge & I absolutely HATE mall walking. I may just have to get out of my own way with that one if I want to get this done & get back on track!

I'm in. This seems like an easy goal, though it may be challenging for me because here in Indiana it is getting much colder. I do not like cold weather and avoid going out as much as possible.

When the "Other Goals" page comes up it should list the week up on top and there should be a check box for each day. Then you check each day as you complete the requirement. Hope that helps.
I seriously misunderstood this page - I read "Goals" as "Promises" and "Tracking" as "Keeping Promises" -- so I saw this page as where to mark my resolutions, not track their progress. Still not sure how this page updates, as there are no dates associated with the check boxes.

I just want to know where I check it off or insert the minutes. Still behind the curve on some of the SP tools.
And I know you sent me an email on how to use one of them, and it is my fault I have not yet gone through it and tried to work it... but not my fault I've been kept so bloody busy. I'm losing one of my many jobs June 10 -- either they elect someone else or I close the organization, which would be a shame.

Do you want me to set the challenge up where you insert the number of minutes instead of just checking it off?
Um, I asked how you were going to track this. I have been walking a minimum of 4 hours a week for the last month, and about 8 hours this week. Whatever tracking systems are on Spark don't seem to want to work for me.

I've been keeping up, even with a twisted ankle... riding my bike does not put nearly the amount of stress on my ankle and walking. I have noticed my shoe soles are falling apart, sure hope I can find some money for new shoes soon.
