I was thinking of trying this challenge but I know I'm not where near doing the numbers it requires per day so going to tweak it for my own abilities and see how things work out...

I restarted 8/12-13 but I've spaced it. I did days 1 and 2 within the first 3 days but just did day 3 yesterday. Day 4 today though and hopefully mostly on track! August wasn't my best month, summer is so busy I'm almost looking forward to fall...

Funny thing is, I started it back in June, did up to day 8, and then in July, also up to day 8. I'm doing it again, halfway through day 9.

so I went on a mini vacation for memorial day weekend, and sort of didn't do any squats. I'm gonna try to catch up, but I'm not looking forward to it, since we're in all the big days now, but only a few days left!

depending on how I feel, or how much time I have- I've tried both. it feels a little easier for me to break them up, but then again doing it all at once just gets them out of the way!

130 when I get home!

I've been doing mine all in a row but today I'm at 140 so I might break it up, I'll see how I feel while doing them.

Update: I ended up breaking it into 2 sets of 70. My back didn't like it. Rest day today!

I try to do mine in the morning before I leave for work... but I do them in chunks. Usually 20-40 at a time then do something (like I can do 30-40 while flossing my teeth)... then I'll go get dressed (or whatever). Then do more.

I completely slacked this morning because I have a killer headache made worse by movement. I'm hoping it will go away so I can still complete these today!

Got through 1/2 of my 100 this morning... was running a little late (and am a bit sluggish), so I'll do the remaining 50 throughout the day.

well I kind of dropped off for about a week. I got sick, and then really busy when I got better last week so I kind of stopped accidentally. a couple of my friends decided they're going to do it starting tomorrow, may 1st, and asked if I wanted to do it too without knowing I started it once already. I think I'm going to try to start over and do it again with a couple more people on board.

I'll keep you updated!

well I decided I'm going to try it. I've done the first two days with no problem, and I'm only holding myself to what I can actually do. I'm going to *try* the challenge, but when the numbers get higher, if I feel like my body is telling me NO, I'm not going to over do it. If it turns out I can't get past a certain number, I might still try to just do that amount for the remainder of the days. Assuming I can hold out. :)

I do squats with my Cathe DVDs but I wouldn't be interested in doing that many squats. emoticon I'd rather do them in connection with a lower body workout that is based on what's best for me at the time.

Good luck though!

It definitely does seem kind of intimidating, that's a lot of squats! Although I started doing some yesterday, and was at 50 before I knew it- so maybe I could pull it off.

I'm not sure my 60 year old knees would be happy with that many. I do 20-30 a day, but I'm not sure I could do more than 50 in a day, let alone have 50 be my starting point. My knees weren't bad until I had a bike accident last fall.
Ah, aging!
Good luck if you do it!
