I sat down Sunday evening and figured out what I had saved between the 15th and the 21st. My "being good" money came to $28.37 I rounded it up to $28.50, took it out of my wallet, put it in an envelope and placed the envelope in a little cubbyhole in my headboard. I haven't decided on my reward yet, but rewarding ourselves is very important, so I am definitely going to come up with something.

I'm continuing to keep track of what I'm saving by not giving in to temptation and plan to add this week's savings to last week's. I've been playing with the idea of getting a massage, but don't want to get too set on a reward. I'm afraid if I set a fixed amount I want to earn for my reward I will start looking for things not to buy, and that's not the idea here.

I saved a ton of money at the grocery store yesterday. Man oh man, the junk I didn't buy! Even at the sale prices I've saved over $20.00 so far this week.

So far so good. Got enough for a yard of fabric!

One Day at a Time:
1) 10,000 steps daily
2) fruit & vegie at every meal and log
3) aerobic or strength train every day
4) 7 hours sleep daily
5) check in with SP daily

For October goals are:

1) ride at least twice a week, and use my trainer twice a week
2) get fully back on my nutrition and record daily
3) finish 2 quilts

This week's challenge involves a reward for yourself. Every time you are tempted to buy a food you shouldn't have and you RESIST the temptation write down the item you resisted and what it would have cost you to buy it. At the end of the week tally up the money you saved by being strong and making good choices. Reward yourself by buying yourself something special with the money you saved. At the end of the week tell us how much you saved and what you bought with it.
