Penny ... are you sure about that calcium number? A lot of foods on the nutrition tracker don't have a calcium value listed on them, so you may have an artificially low number. If you really are getting that little maybe you should consider a calcium supplement. If you do use a supplement I think you are supposed to take vitamin D as well as the vitamin D helps your body absorb the calcium. Check before you take anything, but I think its worth looking into for you.

I am pulling for ya, TJ! You can do it.

I can certainly identify. I didn't have the Moe's nutrition info when I ate lunch there today, and the little Joey Jr thingy I had was half again in calories what I estimated... so its oatmeal for supper tonight! Its ok, though, cause I do my elliptical while the Steeler game is on, so I have an outlet for the agitation I always experience during football games.

I've been all over the place this week, and things aren't looking good for today either since my day started with a pancake breakfast fund raiser. I didn't eat a lot, but what I did eat cost me half of my daily allotment of calories. UGH!

That's what I need, accountability. When I was trying to lose weight I tracked every day. I continued to track when I first got into maintenance but slowly started sluffing off. Now I'm over my maintenance range and have to get back to tracking before things get totally out of hand!

I track every day! I think I have only missed 2-3 since I started. I know its important to me to be accountable, even if just to myself, but now my daughter has seen my progress and joined SP. We have made our journals public, and randomly check on one another. I applaud her, cause she works 12 hour shifts as a Navy cryptologist, and packs her lunch. And she journals it all just before she leaves for work!

There was a spark article featured today talking about people who track their food daily viruses those who do not. The people who track daily lost twice as much as those who do not. I have really been bad about tracking ... or I should say not tracking my food for the past few weeks, and it has shown on the scale. I keep saying I'm going to start tracking but I haven't followed through.

Today is emoticon of my new commitment to tracking. I have added it to my goals and am going to do it starting right now!

UGH! I was really high on my fat today. The veggies I made for dinner had a garlic butter sauce that was delicious, but I didn't realize the sauce was there until I made them. Once made I had to eat them ~

Hope your school concert went well. I got to attend the Christmas concert at my son's high school for the first time since his Freshman year (he's a senior now). He's played alto sax since 4th grade and really plays well. He went to the International Music Camp at the Peace Gardens on the North Dakota / Manitoba border for two summers and learned a lot there.

I'm going to try my best and post every day this week, but I've got a hectic week ahead. Tomorrow is my daughter's dr. appointment, then Wednesday and Thursday all day I have to rehearse with the high school/middle school choirs for their program which I will be playing for on Thursday night! Wednesday and Friday nights are rehearsals for my church choir performance which will occur twice on Sunday!!

So needless to say, it will be hard to get everything in this week, I'm definitely looking forward to next Monday so everything will have calmed down some!

I log everything before I go to work, but have been getting home so late I haven't bothered to finish the daily logging. You've inspired me to do better. That's too funny. I'm sure there were several people that let Thanksgiving get them off track. I guess we need to remember that if we make one mistake, there's no reason to continue to compound them and just get back on track immediately! That's so hard though.

This past week was awful for me. I was stressed out last weekend and got out of my routine and just never got back on through the whole week. Of course, it was busy with Thanksgiving, food, family, etc so that made it even harder.

I didn't eat well or exercise at all, so I'm starting fresh again today. I wish I could stop getting off track and just stay on track for a good long time so I could lose some of this weight.

Maybe this week will be better....I'll post today's numbers later tonight.

Well, I'm glad you found it Linda. I find posting my tracker results keeps me more focused on what I eat. It also makes me a better label reader when I'm shopping. I discover trends by reviewing my tracker results and look for ways to balance out my meals by finding foods that will do that. One thing I found recently that may be of interest to you are the General Mills Fiber One bars. They are yummy and loaded with fiber.

I was a little low today, but did meet my minimum allowed calories (barely) with 1209. Although SP recommends I consume 1460 - 1810 my personal minimum is 1200 ... anything lower than than and your body goes into "starvation mode".

You need to go to your nutrition tracker page. Up by the Water and Fruits and Veggies there is a link that says Change my Nutrition Goals. Click on that and then you can add whatever nutrients that you want to track. Then just click on save and it should track them for you.

I see some of you tracking the fiber..how do you do that? I don't see a place for in the nutrition tracker..I would really like to track that because many of my calories come from the fiber I eat. Most everything I eat is whole wheat, oat based or brown rice. Thanks

Sorry I haven't posted these in awhile! I've been keeping track, just haven't taken the time to post them. Here are mine for today:
