You don't have to calculate anything - SparkPeople does it all for you.

Go up to My Tools and then click on Reports. From there choose Calorie Differential for the day. That's it!

Of course, you will have to log your foods in the Nutrition Tracker and your exercise in the Fitness Tracker.

Well, did an oopsie yesterday & went too LOW. Didn't know it until bedtime, & wasn't going to go cramming food in my mouth to bring the number up. Especially since I take a pill at bedtime that has to be taken on an empty stomach.

This is working great! Thanks Diane!! I even brought up the differential chart for the months Nov-Apr and I can see clearly where I was struggling during the winter months!! Before I joined BTN I was using the sedentary numbers to lose - there must be something factored in because it is working for me again!

Post your daily calorie consumption and calorie differential.

SP has a report that calculates all this for you too. Go to Reports, then Daily Calorie Differential.
