Yes....so far this week i lost almost 5 lbs and i notice that my waist is getting smaller...today i had a blast with the Salsa combo...i was screaming at my husband...."Look at me I'm dancing!!!!"LOL

Somehow I have gotten behind in this challenge. Of course, I went out of town this past weekend, so I spent last week getting things ready. But I'm not sure what my problem was the week before that. :(
Oh well! At least there are still 3 weeks left in the challenge, so I'm planning to pick back up this evening. If I get the chance, I will log back in later to let you know what I did. :)

It's hard for me to post everyday because my computer at home is broken. I have to log in at work. I have been doing the workouts and I love it. I hate the fact that I waited so long to get started with my Core DVDs. My 10 old daughter does it with me and my husband likes the hip shaking..LOL Love it emoticon

When I fall my Lord Jesus picks me back up.

I did the Lower Body Sculpt this emoticon . I haven't done that one in a long time & my legs turned to jello. It really kicked my booty. So, I will probably be pretty sore tomorrow.
I also did the Secret to Sexy Abs yesterday afternoon, but I didn't know if it counted toward the challenge. Just thought I'd mention. :)

When you're doing Core R. they tell you to keep your stomach toned while you'll doing the exercises, but I never could actually do it. Well today on my 2nd Core R. dvd I made it my lifes goal to keep my stomach in while doing the dvd and still keep on breathing normally. It was really hard, but it did take the focus away from the length of time. But I don't think I performed the moves as well. I'm going to have to keep trying until I can do it effortsly. Soon I will have a flat stomach. :)

I had posted a workout challenge for myself on my blog about 2 weeks ago to go through all my exercise DVDs in a set amount of time without doing the same one's twice - I have over 45 different workout DVDs But with the holidays and other interruptions, it hasn't gone as planned.
Even though I missed the first day of the challenge, I think I will join this one to help give a boost. I will probably be working out in the evenings since that's when I have the most free time.
I think out of all the workout DVDs that I own, Core Rhythms is my favorite. So, I look forward to giving this one a try & see how it goes.

Princesslsh: Salsa Blast is my absolute favorite! Tonight my workout plan is Step Aerobics, Elliptical or Spinning, and probably Julia's segment of the Salsa Blast video. Sounds like you had an awesome emoticon workout. SHAKE IT BABY!

Okay I just did my new Core R. dvd-Salsa Blast and the lower body sculpt and Salsa blast seemed much harder than the other Core R dvd's. But I finished both and ignored the sweat dripping off my face and chest. LOL! I can't wait until my other two Core R. dvd's (Jive dvd and the Merengue dvd)come.

No Excuses needed or wanted, we can do this.

Shame to say that I have the workout DVD's but never used them. I need to get them out of the box and put them in my DVD player. Motivation is my main problem. This will help, I'm on board.

When I fall my Lord Jesus picks me back up.

Hi PSAGI77,
I bought the CD's years ago and I don't remember a calendar. I usually put my favorites (Salsa Blast, Samba Fusion, Secret to Sexy Abs and the Full Workout) into rotation according to how I feel.

For this challenge since I already am doing other types of cardio...I'll probably do the Abs in a Hurry or the 20 Minute Quick Workout as my emoticon workout.

Hopefully, some of the other team members can point you in the right direction.

This is perfect because I'll start to do core rhythms this month...the only problem that i have is that the videos didn't came with a calendar to help you with what video to do each day....if you have any type of rotation would be really helpful for me if you can share it

I agree that it definitely works, that's why I need to get back to my Core Rhythms routine. I was doing it 6-7 days a week and the weight and inches melted off my waist, back, hips and thighs.

I'm in. I try to do 2 Core R. 5-6 times a week for an hour or more. It's definitely working, my waist, stomach, hips and thigs are slimming. And I put myself on a 1500 - 1600 calorie food intake. This is definitely a good challenge; I definitely need something to challenge me. :)

No Excuses needed or wanted, we can do this.

On Monday, 4/5 through Friday 5/28 we will have an 8-Week Challenge.

During these eight weeks, we will be SHAKING IT BABY at least 5 days a week.

If you already CONSISTENTLY do CORE RHYTHMS or some other form of cardio as part of your regular workout, then keep doing it. But also do an EXTRA five minutes of CORE RHYTHMS in the mornings (THE SUNRISE) emoticon or at the end of your day (THE SUNSET) emoticon .

If you currently aren't consistently working out then now is the time to get a streak started. Your goal will be to do any of the CORE RHYTHMS workouts at least 5 days a week and you can pick if you do it in the emoticon OR emoticon

Once, you've completed your workouts for the day, you can share on this thread what you did, or you can simply post one of the emoticons emoticon OR emoticon

So, who's ready to SHAKE IT BABY? We have nothing to lose but POUNDS and INCHES!!!
