God's thoughts are not like our thoughts. Our thoughts can become thoughts of fear or discouragement, anger or frustration. Thoughts like: "I'll never be able to get through this," or, "God must be punishing me for something I've done," or, "The Lord is against me," can become a part of our thinking.

But God's thought is to make you strong! His will is to make you stronger, not to tear you down. You must become strong in the ways of the Lord. "The way of the Lord is strength to the upright." (Prov.10:29 KJV) God says to you, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10, NASB). The strength of the Lord is more than enough, to meet every obstacle.

God Wants to Strengthen You

The purpose of God is to make you stronger! The article below reveals how you can truly live in God’s strength. God wants you to have a deep assurance that His plan is to strengthen you, no matter what the circumstances. In these days it is a great secret to know the strength of the Lord!

This strength comes to those who desire to follow after Christ. This makes it so important to walk in faith, and forsake the things that would block God's presence in your life. By confessing and turning away from any sin, the door opens for God's cleansing grace to wash through you, restoring the strength of God in your life.

GIFTS

YOU have been given a gift! Christ gave it to you to use daily to encourage and uplift the Believers around you. I find it almost impossible to grasp how Christ could give specific gifts to each one of us! And yet, in His plan, He chose to use each of us to build up and encourage the body of Christ. He knew what your gifts and talents would be. He knew how your personality would interact with the spiritual gifts He gave you. He gave a special, precious, hand chosen gift to you!
What do you do with the spiritual gift(s) He gives you? This question causes many to stumble when it comes to using their spiritual gifts. Maybe the best answer is a question: is what you’re doing building up the body and helping them to be unified in their faith? If your answer is “yes” then you are using your spiritual gift in the right way. If your answer is “no” you are abusing your spiritual gift.
Take some time right now to thank the Lord for your spiritual gifts. Ask Him to show you how to better use them in your daily life. He gave the gift to you, He wants you to use it, He will reveal how to use it! If you are still unsure about your spiritual gift, ask a mature Christian who knows you well. She may be able to point out your gifts by what she has seen in you.
Each and every Believer is an important part of the body of Christ. Each one has gifts that Christ wants used to make the body of Christ more unified. What a blessing to be a part of bringing unity to the body of Christ! Ephesians 4:7-13, Romans 12:4-8, I Cor. 12

He's Calling Out Your Name

When God saw Moses had, turned to see the burning bush, He called to him (Ex. 3: 1-6). God does visit us today, but most are to busy with life to turn and see their burning bush; nor do they hear God calling their name. He reveals Himself differently to each individual. Noah heard God’s audible voice; as did Samuel. To the Israelites He was a Pillar of cloud by day and a Pillar of fire by night (Ex. 13:21). Thousands of years later He clothed Himself with flesh and blood, becoming a man, the perfect sacrificial Lamb of God, and bore the cross at Calvary so that we could be reconciled to the Father (2 Cor. 5:18).

Today it can be a simple thought that pops into your mind. During time with Him in prayer it can be as overwhelming as sensing His presence in your room causing you to look to the ground out of reverence. As you read your Bible a verse or passage of scripture stands out on the page. A friend, or someone at church, talks with you and speaks something to you as if the Lord Himself where telling you an answer to a prayer that morning. These are but a few of the numerous ways God speaks to us today.

Hebrew 13:8 says, “Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and yes forever.” He does not change (Mal. 3:6). Therefore, my beloved sister in Christ, I urge you to take time today to turn and see. He’s calling out your name.

Questions to ponder:

Are you listening to hear what He has to say to you? Are you eager to Hear what He has to say? What is He speaking to you?

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

"A happy, contented marriage is one where both partners are constantly looking for ways to build up the other. It is a conscious priority that is always at the forefront".

"Timely compliments lift the spirit and give energy to the receiving spouse".

"Building up your spouse, builds up your marriage and your family".

"Everyone stumbles everyday. Genuinely overlooking flaws and mistakes is one of the best ways to encourage your partner. It gives a sense of freedom and relief and make your partner grateful"

Well, I am definitely a believer that God's Will be done and not mine. He answers all my prayers. However, He doesn't always answer them the way I want. And I usually find out that I amn happy I don't get what I prayed for.

The Power of a Praying Woman
Do you ever feel that God doesn't hear your prayers or feel unworthy to pray to God? It is times like these when you need to pray and trust in God. There are lots of examples of the power of prayer in the Bible, mostly by men, but these also apply to women, so be encouraged, God wants to hear your prayers and he will answer them.

'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' (Philippians 4:6-7)

Prayer is Your Protection:

The Bible says in 1Thessalonians 5 verse 17 says, “Pray continually (NIV), pray without ceasing (NKJV), never stop praying (NLT).”

This is so important! If you’re wondering if you need to pray 24 hours a day 7 days a week?” The answer is…Yes you do! Praying is a constant connection between you and God. The more you interact with Him, the closer your relationship grows. You will be blessed by God’s empowerment that will only happen when you grow your trust in Him. The Lord Jesus wants to have a relationship with you. Trust on Him for understanding and wisdom.

Philippians 4 verse 6-7, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God; which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

So there it is, we need to pray! You see, the Lord Jesus wants to encourage us to pray with a heart of thanksgiving and give Him our requests by leaving it at the throne.

Ephesians 1:3-8 ~ I have been chosen by God and adopted as His child.

1. Submission is Biblical

Many couples today believe they can get along doing things their own way, rather than standing on God's truth. But man's way doesn't work as we see before our eyes with many divorces taking place, even amongst God's people! Remind yourself of the Scriptures again: 1 Corinthians 7:3-4; 14:34b; Ephesians 5: 21-24; Philippians 2:6-10; Colossians 3:18; Titus 2:5 and 1 Peter 3:1-6.

This is a place to encourage you Ladies when your going through a struggle
in marriage or even within yourself. I pray that you will be lifted up.

"Listen to your spouse. That special person may be passing on what God wants you to hear"

Encouragement is needed since husbands and wives are not naturally:

Inspired - to expend energy on the same path, nor
Motivated - to have the same priorities or take the same course of action, nor
In agreement - that everything is going well in their lives together, and finally, they will probably not
Be able to endure hardships at the same tolerance level.
