We now have a set of threads in the Low Carb Recipes forum for breakfast, lunch and supper menus. And a set of breakfast and lunch threads in the Main forum. And another thread in the Main forum called "Just Wondering" that some people are using to post their menus. Enough already!
Let's close out the menu threads here in the recipe section, and everyone post on the threads in the main forum. Russell, will you start the snack and dinner threads there? Obviously, you can all post wherever you want to, but enough people have said that they wouldn't/didn't look in the recipes forum for menu ideas to make it seem reasonable to move them to where more people will see them.
OH! BTW, Russell! How many carbs are in that chili of yours? I just made a batch last week and froze some, but mine didn't have the kidney beans in it. It did have some spicy sausage and green/red bell peppers in it along with that other stuff you had in yours. Think I might get milder sausage next time though. It was a wee bit too spicy for me! lol

Well, I didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but while out with my daughter and grandkids...we went by McDonald's. I had the double cheeseburger..minus the roll and only onions & mustard. They also had these new 'fish bites'. Couldn't resist so tried 2 of them! They were small, w/lite breading..so don't know how many carbs were in each. Tasted great though! lol Just in case though, no more carbs for me today. They might have made up my 20 for the day! lol So, it will be a cheeseburger or steak or small salad for dinner tonite! :)
I either eat left overs for lunch, or a redo of breakfast, with alterations. such as if I had eggs with peppers and onions for breakfast I might have eggs and sausage for lunch, or eggs and spinach. I prefer left overs but there's not always any left over. LOL

I realized when I saw the lunch thread that I often combine breakfast and lunch around 11 am so my ideas are already in the breakfast thread. Sometimes I have a late lunch/early dinner combo that includes a big salad with everything incl. chicken, bacon, nuts and lots of olive oil.
You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.
Turkey slices, olives, cheese and maybe some salad.

Two chicken thighs with BBQ seasoning, some cucumber slices and "buffalo" hummus from the cafeteria. Medium coffee with half and half and Sweetleaf stevia. Rinse and repeat tomorrow. And tomorrow. And tomorrow probably.....
The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.
I tend to do a salad topped with hot salmon, chicken or beef and blue cheese or parm and homemade dressing or just vinegar. Sometimes if I get to eat late it's just PB and celery and a slice of cheese.
I am starting my ticker again since starting low carb.
