My favorite Sparkpeople recipes from the book are the Slow Cooked Lasagna, Chicken and Vegetables Marsala, Salsa Chicken, the Crunchy Chicken Salad, the Roasted Root Vegetables. The Tuna Casserole is pretty good along with the Mac-n-cheese. I've tried a lot of the recipes but those are my favrites and hits with the fam.
I've been making the 15-Minute Chili, but the only way I can sell the family on it is to add a jar of salsa and let it sit overnight. That's actually great though, since I can toss it together in a double batch, use half plus brown rice, roll the other half into Nachos, and have leftovers for Taco Salad for night three. All from one 15 minute preparation. Mommy-tricks For the Win! Once I started tracking my nutrients I did start boiling my own beans rather than using canned to cut down the sodium.
Only you can.

God never promised A life without pain, Laughter without tears Or sun without rain. But He did promise Strength for the day, Comfort for the tears & light for the way, & for all who believe In His Heaven above He rewards their faith In His everlasting love.
I cooked Mama's Red Beans and Rice, it was really good. I noticed it took longer to cook the rice then what the book said but that was okay. It might be my stove. Tonight I'm going to try the macaroni and cheese!
