Fresh salsa!

It has hardly any calories and I put it on all kinds of things including tuna and veggies.

Also:

Tomatoes
Dried cranberries

This is a great idea. The local team that I lead isn't attending the team hangout thread so I may just steal your idea! One suggestion is to sparkmail the team and remind them to turn on notifications of new topics. From my other experiences with this team I don't think many are subscribed and they miss the new topics.

for me:
string cheese and fruit are my staples. Right now I have italian plumbs on the counter and I pitted them into a 1/2 cup so that I could get the right measure (and a whole serving). I think it took 3 plums.

I like to keep on hand:
apples, other fruit
dried fruit, like apricots, apples, prunes
Sunbutter (like peanut butter, but made from sunflower seeds. I can't have peanuts or soy)
fruit rolls
hard boiled eggs
wheat thins, or in my case gluten free crackers
celery with laughing cow cheese or reg cheese is also good. as is string cheese, yogurt, cheese slices, cottage cheese (for those of you that can have dairy)
carrot sticks (&other veggies)& hummus

What do you guys like?

I thought it might be fun to start a Question Of The Week (QOTW)... I will try to post this quiestion on Sundays, but sometimes it might not be until Monday or later, who knows... Feel free to Sparkmail me if you have ideas for questions to ask. I will ask questions on all types of subjects, from health, to caregiving, to just general questions.

so, my question for this week is: what healthy snacks do you keep on hand?
