Thankyou so much Lisa-caroline - I am looking forward to it, this is my third but always get really nervous at the start line. I did run 16ks this morning up in the Te Kuiti Hills in a time of 1.29.39 so if I can hopefully do this one in 2 hours but wont hold out any expectations. My daughter and I loved doing the Real Womens Duathlons together in Hamilton when I started on my journey toward fitness.They are all around the country as you know so maybe this could be something you would be interested in doing? Just a thought anyway. It became a tradition. However she is now in wellington at Uni (she turned 18 today).

I am a long way from competing in Marathons but I am doing a Duathlon at my gym. Walk 3km * Bike 10km * Walk 1.5kms. We do this four times. I have done the first 2 times and have my third attempt next week.
