Ahhh yes, this frustrates me also. Middle of winter when it feels like the darkness will never end and you have to put up with all this "YAY SPRING!" stuff.. hahaha.
I don't have a great track record at sticking to challenges but I'll join the team :) No great challenge ideas to add though due to my lack of experience with them (so it'll be interesting for me to see what kinds of things are usually done on them).
You are so right, I am so in. I'm actually starting a bootcamp in auckland on the 1st of March (one of those 3 days a week for 1h at 6 am) and I'm just starting my first C25k program, so I'm hoping to see some real changes. I've been looking at what others are doing about running and it's annoying when most the world is on the treadmill cuz is freezing and here is hot. Great idea!
I'm sick of doing 'wrong-season' challenges on other teams! "Winter challenge"?? It's 28 degrees out there and I'm sweating! "Summer challenge - let's all get our beach gear on this week" Yeah right - it's 10 degrees and there was a frost last night!
So who's with me? A local challenge for this end of the planet! I don't know what we'll do specifically in autumn - I can't imagine a challenge based on the colours of the leaves or whatever, LOL! But we'll call it "Autumn challenge" and dagnabbit, it'll be IN AUTUMN!!!
