My goals this week are to:

Do 30 minutes of the SP Cardio Blast DVD 5 out of 7 days (since I work harder and burn more calories in less time than walking).

Do the 28-Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge videos 7 out of 7 days.

Do 20 minutes of yoga 6 out of 7 days.

Basically rest on Sunday.

Drink at least 12 - 8 oz. glasses of water per day.

I lost weight last week by eating in the upper end of my calorie range instead of the lower end, so my goal this week is TO EAT HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD AT THE UPPER END and see how this works for me. When I gained 5 lbs, I was eating at the low end of my range (1200 calories). I'm in the SparkCoach Plateau Busting Program and they suggested eating at a different end of your range to push past a plateau. I may have been eating too little and going into starvation mode.

Not upset about it as it is all major water retention. Hate being a woman at times (Sorry guys!).

As for the week, I was able to start up my weights again last week and I'm super stoked about that. So, my goal for this week is 3x days of weight training on top of 9 miles running and 3x days of walking (Cross training) minimum.

We are heading into WEEK 3! Wow time is flying. Wednesday starts week three of this challenge.

For the remainder of the weekend as well as Monday & Tuesday, I'm challenging you.

Just catching up on the emails I missed over the holiday, and I am thrilled to accept this challenge. It fits great with the personal goal I have of 9 pounds before the 15th. (I think that one is almost beyond range, but maybe not!)

I slipped a bit over Thanksgiving, but I am determined to do a few extras to reach at least the 5 pound goal...if not the whole 9.

So I will do my best to:
- drink 8 cups of water a day
- walk the dog and do the 10 minutes additional EVERYDAY
- not exceed 1,450 cals a day

Honestly I think if I can just remember to do the water, I might be able to break past the 177 low I hit a couple of times.

So I'm in with SW - 180.2 and 5 weeks to go!


With a little fluctuation, I'm still at 6 pounds lost so I'm taking the 10 day challenge! I'm going to get up 15 minutes earlier etch day (so I'll stop hitting the snooze button) and do some - any - exercise!

hello118... i am doing WWonline... been tracking there as well as here.. my total points for a day is 31.. i have a website on here that gives me calorie info and PP so i preplanned everything before going out.. i was proud of myself yesterday and stayed within my points..
atkins really didn't do a thing for me... too restricted..
guess i can add this to my goal for this challenge... stick to ww plan need to reach goal again

SW: 177.5 After Thanksgiving. This is 2 pounds higher than yesterday morning so... my goal is 170.5 since those first two should just slide back off, right?

Plan: Continue to log in and food track daily staying as close as possible to 1200 calories. Avoid sweets at all times with the exception of a rare SMALL bite at gatherings.
Gradually increase my workouts to get back to my 5 mile walks twice a week, yoga type classes twice a week, and weights twice a week.
(Currently at 2.5 miles once a week, class twice a week.)

Starting Weight 214.4 (Day after Thanksgiving)

Goal 209.8 (I'll deal with the 0.4 pound variance. I want below 210)

Plan:
Nutrition:
- 50-75 Vegetables by the end of the year (already have 21. Was going for 50, but I maybe can do more)
- Track and up protein (4 servings of both meat and dairy, 1/2 cup almonds, walnuts, etc.)
- Taper the amount of junk food I eat (currently striving for below 1200 calories. Hope to be down to 900-1000 by 12/31)

Exercise:
- 20-30 minutes of cardio 4-6 days a week
- Upper/Lower body split strength training

Motivation: Jeans.
I have six pair of jeans that fit me:
- Two are kind of large
- Two fit just right
- Two are definitely on the snug side

By the end of the year I want
- The large ones out of circulation
- The two that fit just right to do so even after a large meal or just being washed
- The snug ones to fit just right.
- a pair of jeans/khakis that doesn't fit to fit again.

I'm-starting at 152 and would love to lose 5 pounds by New Years instead of gaining. My plan is to do at least 30 minutes do cardio every day and ST 3 times a week. Also to track my food - EVERY bite.

well i am going to try this... it seems like when i get into a challenge... something happens... been having lot of computer problems no internet when i get home and no time when i get up for work.... anyway...

starting weight this time is 243

my goal is to stick with NOT eating any kind of sweets..pastries..candy..
holidays are fine... i have menu to where i am going thanksgiving dinner and sticking to it.. i work on christmas so its my slow cooker roast

Starting today I am going back to measuring my food and logging it.

I am going to spend an average 30 minutes 6 days a week organizing my house.

I am going to make an effort to walk 1/2 Marathon each week.

2. How are you going to plan during the holidays so that you lose (i.e. this can be something with nutrition (maybe no alcohol during the holidays), this can be exercise (maybe increase your exercise by 30 minutes a week - hello that's only 4 more minutes a day).
