I am in the middle of about 4 books and really want to start another. I am currently reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad (for the second time) Memoirs of a Geisha, My Sister's Keeper, and Barrack Obama's "The Audacity of Hope." I also want to start Khalid Houssini's second book....but I can't remember the title right now....hopefully I will get some time soon to finish them all, haha

Currently I'm re-reading "Memoirs of a Geisha." The movie was ok; I hate that it cut out so many important parts. However, the book is awesome!

yeah i decided to skip buying/reading atonement...between not being impressed with the summary of the book and other people saying it was hard to read, i didnt read it

i DID, however, skip ahead and read The Time Traveler's Wife and LOVED it!! well, there were parts i didnt like so much, but overall i liked it...dont wanna say too much for those that havent read it...cant wait for everyone to read it so i can talk about it more...i think it will evoke more responses/debate/emotions than the other books and it will be interesting to know what others thought and share!

while i'm waiting for everyone to catch up :-p i'm reading kushiel's dart...its a fantasy series my sister tuned me into and so far its REALLY interesting...the series is by jacueline carey and she just came out with the sixth book...kushiel's dart is the first...let me know if you want more information or if you've read any of the books...have mercy though, i'm only about a third of the way through!

I LOVED Skinny Dipping! Great airplane reading...

Right now I am reading 110 People Who Are Screwing Up America (I think that's the title...). Next on my list is Gang Leader For A Day. Both are listed as nonfiction. After I finish the second one, I'll read a piece of fluff to let my brain relax a little. I just bought Blame It On Paris, so that'll be the fluff piece.

Has anyone read The Nobodies? The one about modern slavery? I want to know if it's any good before I pay Amazon shipping charges...

I've started the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I finished the first one yesterday and am like 30 pages in on the second. They're pretty good so far! They're definitely different from what I've been reading lately, so that's kind of fun. They go super quick too!! Like I said, I'm 30 pages in, but I'm already on chapter 13!

I'm re-reading the time travelers wife. I was thinking about starting a "book club" in one of the teams. This would be a good book because it's sort of like a love story but it's good enough that a guy would read it too. Plus, it's complicated which can lead to a lot of discussion.

Currently I am reading Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin. I'm actually finding more time to read for fun this semester, because I miss it so much, I make time! I have to read a lot of plays for my theatre major and don't get to read a lot of novels, but I love to read when I can!

Right now I am reading Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert on the advice of my mom. I'm not even half way through but I'm enjoying it. Normally it's not my type of reading material but it is inspiring. The next book I'll be reading will be Duma Key by Stephen King which I am totally psyched for.

I read Girlbomb by Janice Erlbaum. It was really funny; and I haven't read it recently but I highly suggest Middle Passage by Charles Johnson. It's great and has subtle humor you have to look for.

I read Marked and Betrayed by P.C. and Kristin Cast this weekend! So Good!!! The 3rd on comes out March 4th and I can't wait!! It's about vampires, but in a good way I guess.

Lupe, if your looking for something good to read and you don't mind young adult, I'd recommend Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. They're some of my favorite books! I'd also recommend pretty much anything by Scott Westerfeld or the two i read this weekend!

The last book I read outside of school was The Time Travelers Wife. I found out that there is a chance that it may be made into a movie, but if you've ever read it, then you may be wondering how they'll pull that off with all the time travel. I ordered "Body Drama" online and it has some good reviews. I usually don't read motivational works like that, but it may be good seeing as I'm working on being healthier.

I just finished Wicked and thought that it was a great book. I'm currently reading The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold and Walking in Circles Before Lying Down by Merrill Markoe.

Despite the fact that I'm 23, I still love YA Fiction. I just finished reading Rebel Angels by Libba Bray. I'm now reading Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein (it's not published yet, I'm reading it for work). It's REALLY good, but I miss my YA fiction. I actually picked up Twilight by Stephenie Meyer for the umpteenth time last night and I'm reading that too!

I'm starting to read Terry Patchett's Discworld series over winter break. I don't usually like fantasy, but this is satirical fantasy so it's right I'm my ally.

i hear wicked was good. I'm mostly a harry potter and lord of the rings fan, but I love the classics like tolstoy's work and pride and prejudice. I read the time traveler's wife a while ago and it was pretty good.

Despite having limited time to read during the school term, I still like to read a good book every now and then.So if you happen to be reading something stop by and see if anyone has read it too!
