Hi, What I started doing years ago and it has and is still helped/helping, is to: eat more green veggies, take fish oil vitamins, safflower, eat bananas, those are for helping with blood pressure mostly (Bananas), eat walnuts, seek Doctors advice, exersize is a plus, and stay with SP to get more info.
Let it take time and you know it will become a habit and things DO GET BETTER.
OH & the oils you use to cook with, Replace them all with extra virgin Olive oil.
AND eat Cheerios for breakfast, it really helps like they say.

If you look at the top of your page and click on "health conditions" - go down to condition center and you will be able to click on information for high cholesterol. It's very helpful.

Glad you found this team page. I found it a couple of weeks ago and just by reading some of the posts and by taking time to read the articles & take some of the quizzes SP supplies has really helped me to understand some of the things I need to do to change my eating. Understanding the issues is half the battle. Also, everyone has been really helpful w/ any questions I've had, too. Good luck and hang in there.

I have a 307 total cholesterol,267 triglycerides and my good cholesterol is 33,I do need to get this number right,please any hell will be good
