I ran 4.5 miles and then spent the rest of the day packing my oldest for college and cleaning the other bedrooms. Then we moved furniture around and helped my oldest son move into his bedroom basement. (It was built yesterday.) I did lots of laundry, which means two flights of stairs taking it up. I'd say I had a pretty good workout at home yesterday, too.

I walked 1.75 miles outside up and down hills and curving streets on unlevel sidewalks. And again tonight. Loving this cool weather so I don't sweat to death when I walk. emoticon

Yesterday I walked around the hospital but didn't get a "walk" outside as I like to do. I now have two weeks of classes each afternoon Monday through Friday and then last evening I had company for dinner. I will take a walk today though...!

I tried to run, but it turned into a short run and a long walk interval. It was a bit over 3 miles so a decent walk, but I'm very frustrated! I really want to run, but this IT band is not cooperating. emoticon

Lots of walking and moving coolers/grills for Memorial day healthy cookout! Stayed on track with beans and lean turkey burgers on light 80 cal buns!

Today I have walked 30 minutes and heading home to get in 30 minutes on my elliptical :)

I went for a walk in the morning and then used the weight machine later in the day. I also used the exercise bike. Today I went for two walks, one in the morning and the other after dinner.

I shoveled snow, too! Yesterday, I only scooped once and it took about 45 minutes. I also did 40 minutes of Insanity!

I tried the PT exercises last month and that only lasted 2 days because of the pain. Yesterday, I tried the 12 minute cardio DVD that came with the weight loss program I started recently. I was supposed to have started last week, but waited until I saw my cardiologist on Wednesday and talked to her about it. She gave me the go-ahead and I was able to get through the whole thing. Made me feel really good that I didn't have to stop. I have to wait until a time in the day when the morphine is working so the pain is manageable, but I didn't have to stop because of my heart or because I was winded. I plan to do it every day.

My cardiologist has not been allowing me to do any form of exercise for quite a while. I am going to start some PT and gradually increase it to the level I was at before. It is still no cardio, but it is better than nothing. Once I get up to that level, I will go back to chair exercises.

I finished moving my stuff out of the apartment yesterday. This morning I went swimming.

I went to the y and did for an hour silver streaks of low impact excerise, learned on to do the strength machines, for 30 minutes went swimming with excerises followed with the steam room and sauna.

Cleaned the horse paddock. Raked manure, cleaned the water , put up new salt block holders and put the blocks in them. Cleaned the blocks and rotated them as I cleaned. (They weigh around 50 lbs each.)

Then I went on a walk with my kids. They only made it 20 minutes, but it was fun. (They said it was too cold. I guess they need to dress warmer!) I laughed as they had to jog every so often to keep up with my power walk. Here's to Spark'n!

I now have a pedometer. i walked for 356 steps for a coups of hours and i am going to see what it is later when i take it off

I walk every morning at school. I walk with a teacher and I push a young lady in her wheelchair while we wait for her bus. (Her mom works at my school.) It's a great workout and I actually work up a bit of a sweat. I like the added weight and the young lady likes the "girl time" away from mom.

Yesterday I went swimming.

Each Tuesday and Thursday morning there is a "Walking Club" here around or in the apartment where I live. I decided that I was ready to join them at walking. Today I went for my first real walk since breaking my knee. 25 minutes of aerobic walking!!
