How has tracking your nutrition and water intake changed the way you live?

How has tracking your nutrition and water intake changed the way you live?

I have found freedom in tracking my nutrition and water intake...at first it was difficult remembering to do the tracking, but eventually I was able to mentally track things when away from home so that my choices remained healthy. When I don't track, it is too easy to slip back into bad habits. Tracking allows me the freedom to live in the moment and to make wise choices.

Since joining SP, the freedoms I've enjoyed include:

1. Making my own decisions on what to eat when out with friends based on what I've learned...and not listening to any of their comments.

2. To exercise in a way I can...not to someone else's standards.

3. To make online friends and trust them

Since starting your journey with Sparkpeople, what are some freedoms that you have experienced? How have they changed your life?


Freedoms:
I can now look in a mirror at myself. I've learned to love me.

Making wise and healthy choices. I've always had the freedom, just never took complete control in using it until joining spark.

My world has expanded. I have friends that I never would have gotten to know and love.

I'm sure if I sat here long enough, I could come up with many more, but it's time to get this body moving. *grin*
